I’ve been coming here for over two years and it’s always a great experience. The owner is super friendly, the donuts are incredibly fresh, and the wait is never long. The cake donuts, and breakfast sandwiches (thick cut bacon) are huge and totally worth it—definitely one of my go-to spots!
Visited Hawk Donuts today, and I was a little concerned because the shop was small, dark, and old. Lady serving was friendly and helpful, so I bought something. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I was given a sausage roll that was not only old, but the bread around it failed to rise. My fist bite tasted like unprocessed, uncooked flour, and the bread had the flat look that happens when one cooks old yeast. Upon inspection, the sausage was dried out and old too. I had already...
My husband and I were visiting the area yesterday and stopped in for a donut. We ended up trying the spinich and feta pastry, breakfast croissant, and jalapeño and cheese kolaches, and bringing donuts home for the kids! All the items were delicious and we received friendly service. Had we had more time, we would have stayed to eat in the cute dining area!
