I guess seeing a Black person at a carnicería is still rare — I definitely get some stares when I come here with my Mexican husband and our family. It can feel uncomfortable at times, but I'm here for the quality and the prices, not the looks.
That said, the meat is always fresh, and the prices are honestly some of the best around. Great selection, and the staff is usually helpful once you're at the counter.
A little more inclusivity would go a long way, but overall, it’s worth coming for the value.

I go to a few meat markets but this one is my favorite The meat is always flavorful and always on point they are about to move over to their new location it's a little bigger

Menudo tasted like canned Juanita’s + felt like it could’ve been made a day or 2 before. Conchas were not soft, not sure when they bake their fresh batches but the bolio was hard as well. Found dairy products on shelf that had been expired for 2 months & the gallon of milk was $8. Trying to support small businesses but we will not be returning to this meat market.

Yall know that they only buy the old meat thats about to expire and cook it up for you to eat when it does go rancid. All the spices cover up the smell and taste.
Manager acts like she owns the place. Forgot some groceries at the store went back to pick it up. She demanded the receipt. I told her what was in the bag, she said someone had called and had forgotten the same items I forgot told her the amount as in 2 lbs of this. Got the receipt and she would not even look at it she told one of the employees to give me the bag and not to charge me for the merchandise and acted like she was doing me a favor. I told her so you wanted to charge me again even though I showed her the receipt. She proceeded to say no charge.

The best meat in the metroplex.. I don't know what they do but when we BBQ my family makes sure I went here to get meat.. the seasoning is top notch, the service is friendly and quick and they have all the sides you need.
