The food in this place is awesomely delicious ! 😋
Dylan, our waiter was excellent. I highly recommend it. I had the shrimps and grits and the shrimps were seasoned and cook to perfection and the most creamiest grits I’ve ever had. Crab mac & cheese, seafood enchiladas and calamari was great too but were my other relatives choices and they had no complaints. If you can, come visit it!

The food is not something I would crave and come back for. I didn't even like dessert. Tasted like everything was fried in old grease. I would not recommend. Only good thing is they have is alcohol

Great atmosphere for dinner date night. Food is mainly hit with a few misses. The fish dishes typically rock. Steamed seafood is stellar. Fried can't go wrong. The seafood etoufee is bad. Im from Louisiana and they would do better using the Tony's box list. Over all, this place is a regular in my date night rotation. Also, only a few minutes from the theater/harbor.

Folks: Nice people, nice waitress. Not overly friendly however. It was transactional only.
Atmosphere: Building was hot…uncomfortably hot. The door was broken and not shutting so perhaps give them some slack here. Yall gotta get it fixed. Floors were clean.
Drinks: CO2 not running on the coke machine…so nothing refreshing to wash the heat away! We don’t drink alcohol but they seemed to have large selections of spirits for those looking to drink.
Food: this is where it fell apart for us.
1. Hush puppies: they were dry on the inside and overly spiced. Overcooked, as they came out dark dark brown. Experiment in the kitchen with adding small amounts of creamed corn/heavy cream to your recipe. You’ll be surprised what this can do.
2. Catfish: was a clean fish. Tasted relatively fresh. The batter would not stick to the fish at all..much of the filet would slide out. It was also overcooked. The batter wasn’t really seasoned. Too dark, not enough cornmeal for my tastes in the batter.
3: shrimp: overcooked…they were rubbery. Not good.
4: cole slaw: It was good. Needed more vinegar in my opinion to cut through fried foods. But I’m sure many would like it. Overly sweet for me.
Food was, in my opinion overall, just prepared carelessly. The oil appears to have been used a lot, it tasted like it has been thru many cycles of frying. Place has potential but it has to turn it around for people to continue to spend money to eat here. We are new to town, transplants from Waxahachie. Was hoping for better as we love a good seafood place. Might give it another go for some of their Cajun stuff but not sure.
I’d love to see yall do better!

I went here with my brother for lunch. For appetizers I had a lovely crab mac and cheese and my brother ordered the fried alligator which was nicely seasoned. For entrees I got the combo basket with coconut chicken and catfish and my brother got the catfish po boy. We both enjoyed our dishes but shared the sentiment that the proteins were underseasoned with most of the seasoning in the sauce instead. We had a great server named Lucas who did an excellent job. I work on customer service and recognize how hard it can be to take of customers and he did a great job of taking care of our table and our requests without being overbearing. I will be back to try the gumbo at some point!

We had one fish basket and a combo fish and shrimp basket. The fish and shrimp were cooked correctly, but the breading lacked flavor and the oil it was cooked in left an old or burnt taste to the breading. I've eaten lots of fish, including seafood in New Orleans and know good seafood and this was NOT even close - very disappointing and unsatisfying meal.

Stopped in for lunch, tried the gator tail which was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was really good & fresh too! Husband had the blackened chicken po'boy which he loved. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.
