The chicken and charro beans were lovely. They had lots of flavor and packaged well. Only downside was the rice still wasnt cooked all the way through. There were bits of hard pieces.

I ordered whole chicken. They told me it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I said okay. Before you know it. I waited an hour just to be told it was going to be another 30 minutes. If I wanted a whole chicken or I could order something else. A waste of time, and they didn’t even care. They could’ve at least told me instead of that making me wait for so long. Beyond pissed.

SAFETY- HAZARD- I ordered the Party Taco Asada catering package for my 40th birthday, and I was extremely alarmed when my cousin bit into something hard and discovered a rusted screw in the carne asada. We had several young children eating with us, and as a registered nurse, all I could think about were the safety risks—including choking hazards and potential infection from the rust. We immediately stopped eating the carne asada and contacted the Rockwall location. I provided photos of the screw on the plate. The only response I received was that they “investigated and found nothing on their end.” I have absolutely no reason to lie about this. A child could have been seriously injured, or worse, had they ingested it. Please be cautious if you choose to eat here. Based on this experience, I do not feel that this location is currently safe.

I recently visited Pollo Regio, and it was hands down one of the best chicken meals I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and really care about quality.
The seasoning was spot on, with just the right balance of spice and flavor. I tried the half chicken meal, and it was incredible. The sides were just as good especially the charro beans
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even during the busy hours. The restaurant had a cozy, casual vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.
If you love chicken, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Google said this place had empanadas - it doesn't. The food is not very good. I will not return.
