Me and my family (Party of about 10-15 people) came in for a birthday dinner. The waitress we had was GREAT, I forgot her name.. The food was okay. I ordered the brisket which mostly was just pieces of fat. The biggest concern is that they have chairs that are LITERALLY hot glued together and my daughter fell right out of hers and hit her head pretty hard. Luckily, she was okay when we got her checked out. Spoke to Lexi, who was the manager on duty. Didn't have anything against her but she didn't have the best attitude. Tried to defend the restaurant by saying the chair was welded together when there is clearly what looks like hot glue around the part that collapsed. The owner tried to reach out to me today while I was at work so I was not able to answer and when I tried to call back calls will not go through.

If you're looking for mouthwatering BBQ with a side of lakeside charm, this place in Rockwall is an absolute must-visit. Nestled right on the edge of Lake Ray Hubbard, the view alone is worth the trip—but the food seals the deal.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the smoky aroma of brisket and ribs slow-cooking to perfection. The outdoor patio was the perfect spot to take in the sunset while enjoying a cold drink and some seriously good eats. Their brisket was tender and flavorful, with that perfect smoke ring that tells you it’s been done right. The ribs fell off the bone, and the jalapeño sausage had just the right kick.

Sides didn’t disappoint either—creamy mac and cheese, fried okra, and baked beans that tasted like they’d been simmering all day. And don’t skip dessert; the banana pudding was the perfect sweet finish.

Service was friendly and fast, Ask for Sidney she is the absolute best, even with the weekend crowd. Live music added to the relaxed, Texas-lake vibe without overpowering the conversation.

Whether you're docking your boat or driving in for dinner, this BBQ joint combines great food, great service, and unbeatable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back—next time with a bigger appetite.

There’s a difference between a fun karaoke night and a full-blown popularity contest — and unfortunately, Sideways has become the latter.

The vibe here is cliquey and territorial. If you’re not part of the “in crowd,” expect to feel it. I’ve witnessed and experienced behavior that goes beyond cold shoulders — things like subtle sabotage, being intentionally skipped, and a clear effort to make certain singers uncomfortable enough not to return. It’s disheartening when a place that should celebrate music and community turns into a gatekeeping arena.

Karaoke should be about people supporting each other, having fun, and feeling welcome — not about playing politics or preserving someone’s ego. Sadly, Sideways is more concerned with who you know than how you perform or treat others.

If you’re looking for a fair, inclusive, and positive environment to enjoy karaoke, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Until there’s a shift in culture or leadership, this isn’t the place to grow as a performer or even enjoy a stress-free night out.

Decent BBQ, prob a little over rated over priced but still better than those chain places.

Dine in BBQ place so expect to have to tip, brisket was a tiny bit drier then preferred and a little salty, while sausage link was over black peppery.

Had a long wait for the food to come out, by BBQ standards. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but would join friends if this was the designation.

Worst BBQ. Brisket tasted very old. Sausage tasted like store bought. Frys were raw.Stuff jalapeño were not fresh. I didn't eat it.I would steer clear of this place.

Thought this bar was going to be a fun experience but they tried saying my very real ID was “fake” even after getting multiple forms of identification and verification from cops. Staff was not pleasant to deal with and was very disrespectful.

Was very exited to go in, after going in multiple times prior. Was denied at the door for a “fake ID” knowing I’m well over 21. Was not very pleasant speaking to me.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Went there with a few friends for kareoke and we couldn't even get a spot to do kareoke. The DJ favored the same few guys everytime. The music was way to loud for such a small space. I dont care if your young or old it was so loud. One of the guys that did kareoke was drunk and very rude to my boyfriend. The food is not very good for how expensive it is. I am not coming here again. It was not a good experience at all. Unless you're a regular they don't care.
