I don't review places ever.. their salad and rolls are good. As far as bbq goes, I got chopped brisket and it was straight fat. Probably my fault I didn't ask for lean but I expected at least 50//50 and I was wrong. The buffet was dry, heat lamps inches from food and no flavor was found in fried foods. Gumbo wasnt bad. Ratings were disappointing because they gave false hope. For $87, we shouldve went elsewhere. But live and learn

We tried Smoke Monkey for the first time today and loved it! The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork are amazing! All the sides and desserts were delicious as well! If you're looking for great BBQ this is it!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. My truck broke down and we were over an hour from home waiting on a flatbed, and instead of kicking us out at closing, a very kind older lady stayed over an hour past closing time so we didn’t have to sit outside freezing.
That kind of kindness is rare these days and it meant a lot to us. On top of that, the food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. This BBQ spot will always have my business whenever I’m leaving the range with friends or family. Truly grateful for people like this

Went to Smoke Monkey for a change from our usual places to eat and we tried the Buffet (AYCE). It was very good value for the money, and the service was first rate. Even though the buffet does not include BBQ Meats, the other available offerings made up for it. Very juicy chicken strips (Spicy and Normal) that were nice and crispy on the outside. The Shrimp were perfectly cooked and also had a nice crunch to them. The Catfish fillet was one of the best I have ever had, it was thick but not mushy and had the same great coating as the shrimp. plus, all the sides, like cabbage, green beans, baked beans, sweetcorn and many others. This made us realize that we have been missing out on this place, and we will now become regular customers, as they offer discounts for seniors, free ice cream and cookies. Great food, great service and a full belly, what more can you ask for 5 out of 5.
