Saturday brunch was delicious the eggs Benedict were old school and perfect. The service very friendly. I will definitely be back.

I used to like this place especially on Sunday Prime Rib and wine special. However last nite Eine was great the Prime Rib not. Prime rib was just warm and mashed potato's cold. I think both were just warmed up. Will not be returning

The only reason this place isn't 1 star is because the fried tomatoes are amazing! First we called before to check if there was a wait & we're confirmed that was not the case. Upon arriving as a minority filled family we we're told there would be a 30 min wait even though the restaurant was half empty. Annoyed and disrespected we waited to be taken to our table by the only server available. Yes, they had one server for Sunday night dinner rush. (Wow) Drink was great and server brought lemons they forgot to the first time around only for it to have hair in it. This continued when our food that took about an hour (all tables we're waiting to eat/be served) finally came out only to be burnt. Won't be supporting this overpriced, no service place.

This place is a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed my food. The eggs were fresh and biscuits and hash browns are probably some of the best in the area. My guest had a similar experience however they noted the toast was old and no longer warm. Lastly, on the aesthetics, they NEED to add sound absorption panels (like Zanata just down the road), because with this place at 75% capacity it is really hard to hear the person you are dining with and really diminishes the dining experience. I may come again but I will let some time pass

We love this restaurant and have been here numerous times. All 5 stars. Unfortunately tonight we walked in and were told that due to short staff in the kitchen they weren't taking walk ins. Sad state of affairs. Hope they get help.

If I could rate them a 0, I would. Waited an hour for our food and then they brought out the kids plate. Chicken nuggets were crumbs and way over cooked. Sent them back and then a young man walked to give us a refill and he slams the cup on the table and pushed it to the back of the table aggressively because we sent back burnt chicken nugget crumbs. Needless to say, the manager tried to make it right but we were too upset by the entire experience. Our first and last time at this place!

We love this place and frequently come here for dinner. We even hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here - we wanted something casual with really good food and this was perfect! We had the back room to ourselves and it was perfect size for a long table for our group of 15. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, chicken fried steak (sub asparagus or brussel sprouts for the corn), the red snapper and cheesecake (I'm typically not a fan of plain cheesecake, but I LOVE theirs). They make a good old fashioned too, but of course that always depends on individual bartender.
This place has 3.5 stars because it's in Rockwall; which, means it's 4.5. Giving 5 stars to help edge-off the Karens.

Could maybe be better in some areas. The hash browns taste and look frozen. It's maxed out on prices. Not a cheap date. Service is sluggish.

You have to get the chicken and wafffels! Oh and the crab dip. Oh! And the friend green tomatoes! NEED a bloody Mary' - beat in town! Just overall a good spot! Worth the wait on a morning!!

It’s unbearably cold. I waited 40 min just to sit down and freeze. I ended up boxing my food immediately and leaving because it was way to cold to eat inside.

I had long wanted to try The Fatted Calf and was not disappointed when we did. Love the decor. Our waitress was new but very, very good. Everyone said their food was good. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we all felt like the food was a bit overpriced for the amount we got. I left pleasantly full but i ate every bite on my plate ... and could have enjoyed a bit more. I don't think most men would leave satisfied with the portions. I would return, for sure, but now i know to expect relatively small portions.
