Good tacos, good quesa-chips, good service - only reason it's not 5 star is their weird street corn, nowhere near to real taste.
Cheyenne, the bartender at Torchy’s Tacos in Rockwall, was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a genuine smile and immediately made us feel welcome. She was extremely patient, attentive, and mindful of every guest at the bar, making sure no one felt overlooked.
Her follow-up on our order and the timing of delivery was impeccable everything arrived exactly as promised, and she checked in at all the right moments without ever being intrusive. Beyond her efficiency, Cheyenne’s personality truly set her apart. She was warm, approachable, and genuinely personable, which created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
She has a natural ability to connect with guests while maintaining professionalism, and it’s clear she takes pride in providing excellent service. Cheyenne is a refreshing face and a strong representation of the Torchy’s brand. She is absolutely a valuable asset to the team and organization definitely someone you want to keep around.

Im a long-time loyal customer. Been to many locations in Texas and Florida. Today this particular location is losing its edge regarding the queso. The queso is one of the signature things about this place and consistency across locations is usually very good. There’s an inconsistency today and it does not taste the same at all. The lead person in the kitchen, tried to offer excuses that made no sense in terms of the lack of consistency. Management needs to check on this since it is one of the main attractions!

I'm not a big Mexican food fan, but I'll come back to Torchy's again and again. Hands down the best queso I've ever had, and the tacos are absolutely delicious, including very unigue combinations. If there's such a thing as high-end tacos, this is where you'll find them. Try the stuff on the secret menu. You won't be disappointed.
