Love this place. The food is AMAZING like AMAZING crazy good for bar food. Their burger is yummy and the loaded fries and nachos can feed multiple peopleKid-friendliness: Game room and dance floor. The night we went there were a good amount of children playing but not in the way at all. We will be going back again and taking the grandbabies

We live just a few miles from 5R and we feel blessed to have such a wonderful, family run business in our "neighborhood". They are a hard working family and give back to the community 100%. The 5R is a fun place to grab a meal and a good visit with friends. Give it a try!

Tried out 5R tonight hoping to have a nice date night and hopefully get to swing around the dance floor a few times to a good country band. Well that didn't happen. Upon entering we were greeted and told to sit wherever we would like. The place is cute, decorated country with family photos, wooden signs and super cute cow curtains. Bathrooms are clean, stalls had cute cow motif shower curtains. Has the potential to be a great venue. That is where things took a turn for the worse. Waitress was young and brand new. She was training under the waitress who greeted us. Brought menus and took our drink order right away. First issue- no straws. Okay- I get it, supplies run out and you can live without a straw. Next we ordered- new waitress couldn't answer any questions but it was her first night so I again, cut her some slack. She didn't even know if they were having a band that night. I asked what cut of steak came with the special- she didn't know. Husband ordered the surf and turf special- - which turned out to be a 6 oz ribeye, 3 grilled shrimp and 2 sides for $20. He asked for a salad with blue cheese and a loaded baked potato. I asked about catfish and they were out, fried shrimp- nope, so I settled on a kids burger - all the way, with sweet potato fries. Steak was to be cooked medium rare - burger was to be all the way with all the toppings. Fast forward maybe 10 minutes and out comes the cook with a plate that has hubby's meal with a very small, very over-cooked piece of well done steak, 3 colorless grilled shrimp, a bowl of salad, and an extra salad. No potato, and no meal for me. Cook tries to give me the extra salad and looks confused when I say no, I have a kids burger all the way. Takes the extra salad back to the kitchen- hubby starts to eat while it is hot. And waits for his potato too. Potato comes out served in a bowl, scant toppings, no sour cream, barely has butter, a bit of cheese and bacon bits. (All of which have an extra charge for when the bill comes.) I still have no meal. Apologies are given and he says I will get right on it. 5 minutes later training waitress comes by and says their electronic order system wasn't working and apologizes again that I have no food but tells me it has been put on again. At this point I should have canceled the meal and gone to Dairy Queen. Finally 5 minutes later my burger and fries arrive. Burger is charred and dry, there is no lettuce or tomato, just bun- which I will say was excellent and the only good part of my meal, meat, pickles and cheese. I didn't ask for burger toppings at that point because I was ready to be done. I did get Mayo and mustard was on the table, but they, nor the excellent bun could save this meal. Hubby has now been done eating for about 10 minutes when mine finally arrived. Oh- and we did end up with live music from a singer-songwriter doing an acoustic set. He was okay, but every song was the same chord progression and this isn't our cup of tea. Certainly not danceable music at the dancehall. We went to the counter to pay the bill and were overcharged for the extra salad that was taken back to the kitchen and no one ate which I didn't catch at the time. There was more apologies, but nothing was discounted or comped after the ridiculousness that was our experience. Bill was $40+ for the special, a kids burger, 1 Miller Lite, and a Coke. We don't mind paying for good food and service but unfortunately received neither which is sad, because it has the potential to be a great place. With tip, because again- new waitress, cut her a break- this was an almost $50 meal that was not even mediocre. I don't think we will be back. The training waitress and cook tried, but did not turn the experience around for us. We could have gone to Robert's and had an excellent steak dinner for two for this money and next time we will.
