Me and my husband went to Roger’s to check out a furniture store (it was closed of course) so we googled BBQ places close by, and Lil Joes popped up. We thought why not we are out and about anyways let’s give it a try. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and treated like family. The counter/ordering area is small and intimate which I loved. The seating area is relaxed and of course they had the game on. The food was delicious 🤤 not complaints from us. They had pickled and fresh Jalapeños which were a bonus, the portions are big you shouldn’t leave hungry, and we even got to try the tamales 🫔 🤤 which were so good we bought a dozen. We got to LiL Joe’s by accident, and it’s a hour drive from our house now, but well worth it and we will be going back!!! Also we ate about half the food by the time I remembered to take this picture 🤷🏼♀️

I just drove around and look to see what BBQ place was around. Omg I'm glad I did because this place had some super delicious BBQ. I got the chopped brisket and homemade potato salad. 10/10. I highly recommend this place. 🥰

Don't let the exterior of their building scare you off! Looks a little like a shack! Inside not to fancy either but they have great BBQ! Very friendly folks, too. I passed this place many times on the way to Waco. Glad I stopped in!
Unlike most BBQ I try, Lil Joe's was juicy through and through. Flavor was spot on and sides were delicious. The only thing better than the food were the people working there. They definitely whent out of thier way to make sure that I enjoyed my experience. I highly recomend a visit while in Rosebud TX. A+++
