Another Time Soda Fountain & Cafe

This is a wonderful place to go to when shopping in downtown Rosenberg or wanting an authentic old cafe experience. The fries were excellent; crispy outside and a soft inside. The shakes are also a great choice! Karma K. was an awesome server!

We today was very let down with the experience. The food lacked seasoning/flavor and fruit cups were mushy. I felt our ticket was very expensive for what we got. We also didn’t have a great experience with our server. I was excited to try this place out but unfortunately will not be back.

Went to visit an employee who was not a server that day, so someone else served me and brought my check slightly after bringing my food out which was strange but I didn’t mind. Then half way thru biting my sandwich she came back and asked me if I minded getting my check ready and was waiting while I was getting my wallet which I felt was very unprofessional. I was also planning on getting something else to-go but wasn’t able to tell her since I was mid bite and she was walking away with the check. The employee I went to see said I was the servers last ticket and was preventing her from leaving early so that’s why she wanted me to hurry up with my check. I always have wonderful service and food when I visit and this is the first time I left unsatisfied with my server, all the other employees are very nice and professional though. It was our first time at Rosenberg! The food and service was great!! Very sweet people!! The burgers were good, the brownie sunday was delicious our kids enjoyed the ice cream! ♡

So, I have been here a few times in the past.

This time was different.

The waitress with black hair was very stressed and showed lack of attention.

The diet sodas were flatt. I tried both Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper. I pointed out that they were flat and the waitress said to stir them. (umm no. Clean your machine and fix the carbonation.) Again it has not been like this in the past so it's not suppose to be like that.

So I ordered ice tee. (very week)

But the final straw was that all the glasses were filthy. Like if you can't clean your glass what makes us think you can clean a table, a soda machine, a stove, or a spatula.

I know when its busy things can slip. But when service slips, and your machine has issues, your service needs to be top tier.

I mean think about it your name is ol time SODA fountain in it. And your sodas are flat and your glasses are filthy. (Posting a pic)
Whoever the manager/owner is needs to step up and do some quality controll.

Recently visited this place…. We walked in and it was so hot inside. No AC??? We sat at the bar - no menus. The staff was extremely disenchanted and you could tell they really disliked their job. Complained to each other about everything……... the longer we sat, the more we realized this was a huge mistake. Terrible atmosphere, hot and rude staff. We walked out and were never spoken to

Recently, my husband and I hosted an event for our ministry here. Everyone had a wonderful time! The food was delicious and we all played games afterwards. Service was great, and the soda fountain is a must!

Visited this quaint Rosenberg restaurant located on a corner directly across from the Railroad Museum. Convenient parking is available on the street in front. 5/5 It has a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with both friendly owner and staff. 5/5 Ordered a fried chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread, lettuce and a tomato, ruffles $10.75, and a side of fruit $3.75 4/5. The sandwich was dry. Requested mayo from staff. Reasonably priced total $15.70.
