This place is a hidden gem. From the moment we opened the doors we were welcomed by what seems like a family owned restaurant. The service was great, we never had to ask for anything. It’s almost like they read your mind before your mind even said anything. The steam dumplings… wow!!! Delicious and the presentation was very nice. We ordered chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. It took longer than normal restaurant and we were totally okay with that because if their dumplings were this good, imagine the actual entree? Omgosh they did not disappoint by far the best sesame chicken we’ve ever had and we are foodies so we know. This will not be my go to place for Asian cuisine. Thank you for bringing flavor and love into the food.

Horrible experience servers were rushing to order drink before sitting. Reaching over us asking for payment while we were still eating. Removing plates that we were still eating from. Never going back! Would never recommend.

The restaurant had so wonderful service in my first time visiting. The owner will try to read u and offer their best for u just like decent restaurant did. They do have some customed dishes for asian stomach if u ask for it. The quality of foods and tastes base on owner's belief and insist for 40 years. The right quality and cook to present food's layer and impact my soul. I can't believe that I can have michillin level of gourmet in houston but still in reasonable price. Some customed dishes are even better than 5 stars hotel in Taiwan. I am a taster from taiwan & bay area. LOVE Hunan Garden! My mom and I used to eat here when I was a kid, and the pot stickers were always our go to appetizer and we would split an order of orange chicken or general tso's chicken. My husband and I came here on our first date, and we still love getting takeout for date night at home! Pot stickers and general tso's chicken are still my go to orders. ❤️ Best Chinese place I've ever been to!

Absolutely delicious Chinese food!! Their egg drop soup is the best egg drop soup I have ever had. The shrimp lettuce wraps are amazing also. Definitely recommend this restaurant!! They also have great gluten free options.
Food was AMAZING! Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is an oasis in a desert. Elaine came by our table and engaged us with the story of the location & her background. Her love for her craft and her commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident. She and her staff were wonderful in making suggestions based on our tastes. My family will definitely be regulars! She’s now a part of our family:)

We had the lemon chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls. I was genuinely impressed with the food. The service was fantastic and I noticed the entire staff worked together as a team very, very well. I just moved to the area and will absolutely be returning.

I was out here in Rosenberg for work looking for a place to eat. I called about 8:37 pm to do a to go order. Instead of saying you’re past the 8:30 cut off time, they said we close at 9 pm. I said not a problem I could be right there. I arrived about 8:45pm my to go order was ready to go. I received excellent customer service from the beginning when placing the order and when picking up my 1st order. I ordered chicken friend rice and an egg roll. The food was great, packaged properly, portions are great and very tasty! I decided tonight I wanted to try them a 2nd time. Just like before, great service, great food, packaged properly, and very tasty. I also got the egg drop soup this time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to the staff at Hunan Garden! =)
