Definitely a tourist trap mediocre Mexican food and atmosphere was over hyped. I would recommend other restaurants.

The best I've had in a while. Great food, good amount, and great prices. I will definitely be back. We had the Enchiladas Al Carbon. I got the chicken and dad git the beef. We both brought home a doggie bag. And this was lunch time.

I use to live nearby here and I would say this is the most authentic Mexican food. The people here are always so friendly and i make sure everytime I visit my family we come and eat here because we know it will be great!
We came to La Casona after cheer competition. The food was good about like alot of mexican restraraunts. Really loved the salsa. The service was slow. they di dhave some big parties in that evening though. I would go back.

In Texas a Mexican restaurant can be gauged by its cheese enchiladas. La Casona knocks it out of the park with exemplary cheese enchiladas. Sure, they may be an hour drive away but I'll be back - like the terminator. Atmosphere and furniture are comfortable. There's a few big screens on to watch, not hear, whatever sports may be happening. Might have been college football on the Saturday I was there. I wasn't paying close attention. The service was good. The food arrived hot. I should have taken a picture.
