La Casona is, hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Fort Bend County. My family and I have been going there for years. For me, the Sopa de Mariscos is all I need. It’s a delicious soup made fresh with clams, mussels, cat fish chunks, shrimp, carrots, squash, and other vegetables. I’d eat it every day if I could. It’s always crowded, no matter the day or time. The waitstaff know my family and treat us, well, like family! Forget all the other Mexican places you go to...
the food is hot and good, they over charged me way to much and only got 6.00 back from my 47 dollar bill, and I was paying only for me. I had a Mixto plate which was 13.00, one of the enchilada was of fajitas, they charged me 5.00 extra for that, then a non-alcoholic Pina colada that was 5.00. that came out to 23 dollars plus tax, maybe 26 dollars at the most. How did it come out to 47 dollars. almost 50 bucks! and all I got back was 5.00. Never again!

We made reservations here for dinner to celebrate our daughter’s graduation that landed on a Monday evening.
Because of its location it was easy to get to allowing family time to enjoy a calm meal, with lots of laughter and not to mention avoiding all traffic heading home.
