Hostess was awesome and recommended a great drink called the hammer hulk. Very delicious, would recommend just ask for less ice they filled it up with ice, the waiter on the other hand didn't seem to care he was at work. Couldn't hear my order over his ear buds (while taking my order) and also brought me the wrong ticket to pay right after he brought my food. Didn't seem to know the menu either. Food was ok. I got the special. The sprouts looked old but decided to give it a try anyway. You can see what i mean about sprouts in photo. Needed way more flavor tasted very blan added some Sriracha and the sauce. Turned the flavor around after adding sauces. didnt see any of the other meat that suppose to be in the special. Just a couple different ones but not all. The noodles were stuck in this one huge clump like dried rice. Not sure what that was about. Over all was an ok experience. There are other better places to eat pho near by in my opinion. Atmosphere was what you would expect from a small restaurant. it gets the job done for a fat price, I think.

Response to owner: I went to this restaurant around 8 in the evening and this was the only restaurant I went to yesterday. I didn’t start to feel sick until a few hours after I ate the spring rolls, and by then you guys were already closed so there wouldn’t have been a way for me to call you immediately.
Old review: I don’t know how this got so many good reviews. The spring rolls eye the worst and weren’t fresh at all. I even started having a bad stomach ache after eating it a few outs later and ended up throwing up. Pretty sure I got food poisoning from here. Will never go back.
Why would I call you? What are you going to do about my stomach ache? Which is why I’m reviewing, so you could make your food better. Nope, I did not make a mistake. I got food poisoning from Pho House. Thanks!
Not very tasty.

Do NOT waste your money coming here!!! Literally a waste of money! They OVER Charge for everything and the Pho is NOT Authentic! They claim that it’s because their pho has no MSG… Lol! We had dinner at this place, party of 4, 2 adult and 2 kids. 3 Regular pho Soups at $11.99 each and a beef sandwich at $7.99. One of my daughters asked if they can have mango tea for her drink, when I got my receipt to pay, the mango tea was the price of 2 Regular ice teas!! I asked our waitress if that was correct? A “Kids” mango tea is the price of two Regular iced teas?!!! She said yes! I said, that’s ridiculous!! it did not phase her one bit!! as if she was used to that reaction/question! I paid a total of $65, and when I asked for my receipt, this is all she gave me!! So do the math.. That will tell you how much I paid just for our iced teas!! 2 regular iced teas and 2 kids iced teas! We will NOT be back to this place again!
I highly recommend Pho Ben, and Country Pho - they both have authentic food, very Delicious food, and much, much better prices!!! They do NOT rip you off like this place!

Service was great,! I ordered the special combination pho. I was disappointed with the amount of meat that was given. Lots of noodles and plenty of bean sprouts jalapenos and basil. Very little cilantro onions and meat.

Best pho place in the Richmond area in my opinion. The #16 is by far my favorite item and the staff is very friendly. Love returning here and grabbing a quick bite to eat.

I was not expecting it will be too pricey. I ordered a meal with rice (can’t even remember the name) opted for fried rice, which came an extra $2.50. I ordered some additionals like a small bowl of extra broth, which was $5. A small egg roll was $2.50. I paid $30 for what I ate (including tip). Serving of food is not really worth the price. Too little. Never going back.

Kids that work here are nice. Prices are insane for what you get. Drinks do not include Boba, so each 16 oz drink (comes in a clear 16 oz cup) cost 7.50 if you want tapioca. i purchased 6 spring rolls, all were falling apart, and had to eat like spaghetti, and didn't have much meat at all. Pho Ben off university is half the price and double the food. I have had gas station egg rolls with more meat. 6 spring rolls and 5 drinks, plus tip was $70!!!

Today I dropped by for the first time for dinner as I'm new to Richmond and was craving some authentic pho. This was anything but that. My mom ordered a pho lean brisket regular sized bowl and I got the shaking beef with rice. The pho was weird, didn't have a hearty broth flavor and when we asked for extra white onions they added just a measly bit more. Also, the ice water when asked with a slice of lemon/lime the slices offered were like 1/12th of a slice, I mean I understand there's an inflation but that's a bit skimpish. As for my shaking beef, the brown sauce was very salty and not tasty. Usually when I order a rice dish it comes with a complimentary side of plain pho soup but this place didn't offer such. This was the most underwhelming pho spot I've been to. I was trying to avoid the trek to Sugar Land to go to Pho Ben or Pho Saigon but I'll most likely have to go back out there to satisfy my craving next time. I should have known when there were no Asians at this establishment that the food wasn't good. I do give them credit for asking how the food was when I immediately went up to the counter to pay and the server acknowledged and apologized that the food was bad. But they didn't take it off the charges and still proceeded to go with the transaction even when the bowl of pho was pretty much not eaten and the shaking beef was about 50% through. I would have appreciated the comp for the pho though. Further, the manager or owner came in and sat down at the front table and proceeded to take his shoes and socks off at the restaurant. Definitely never coming back. Please avoid at all cost if you're ever craving authentic pho or Vietnamese food. I had to walk over to McDonald's for a happy meal for me and mom to avoid letting the dinner experience entirely ruin our night.

Food was bland. Got a tofu vermicelli bowl with a fried egg on top. It was $17, which seems overpriced for what I got. I drowned it in Sriracha to give it some flavor at least. I wouldn't recommend this place. The favour seems really toned down, almost has this "white people" bland appeal. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. Especially for how expensive it was in comparison to other pho shops.

The pho is OK. There are better options in the area. I ordered spring rolls. They charged me $7, which is VERY expensive. I’ve never been charged that much for spring rolls. Not only that, but they were also the smallest & thinnest spring rolls I have ever been served.
I bought a water bottle and they charged me $2. These are the same water bottles that they sell in a 40 pack at Costco for $5. That is at LEAST an 1,800% markup (insane!) on a water bottle.
The employees here were very kind. Overall the customer service is good. However, this restaurant’s food is not great, it’s expensive and there are tastier and cheaper options in the same area.
