A lot of people complaining in the reviews haven't had genuine Mexican food. The food may look burnt but it isn't burn inside or dry at all. And the rice is really good. Meat is soft and juicy and overall a very delicious meal. I do wish the portions were bigger but it was very fulfilling for a family of 4
Today, Sunday, we were craving some roast chicken at home, so my husband asked me to pick it up from El Regio. What a disappointment! The chicken was dry, tough, and burnt. It's unbelievable to eat money thrown away! I recommend anyone buying takeout check the food there so there are no surprises when you get home.

Went there today, 1st time. Cashier that took our order was nice, but , atmosphere, we went to the wrong place. Mexican establishment, and patrons didn't look to pleased. When we got our food and to go, got home, it was wrapped in white butchers paper, and the meat was dried out terribly! Im nit sure if we were served, leftovers, or meat that had been left under the heating light too long, and then reheated again! 🤷♀️. First impressions are lasting ones! We'll, maybe not the wrong place, just not a place for me to go

I usually go the one on beechnut, man the flavor and quality seems so much better at that one. The chicken here super dry, the beef, same, super dry. The rice was horrible, nothing compared to other pollos regios. I have a feeling they buy inferior products in this one. The beans too, not that good. Food seemed old too. Tortillas cold, not really worth the $30 I spent. Find another place, avoid this one. The paying for additional salsa seems to be a thing at all pollo regios. The staff that work at most of them are truly clueless. I am sorry man. The owner should take note. Such potential, and when done right, delicious.

I have been a loyal customer for years and always order the Especialito Mix. Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My plate didn’t even have meat — just a small piece of fajita and a costilla bone with no meat on it. The rest of the plate was piled high with rice and that’s it. For the price and my years of loyalty, this is completely unacceptable. I tried telling them and staff is really rude

The lady at the front gave me so little food for 4 people. The plate costs like 30 bucks, and its too little food for that price.

Those baked potatoes will set you back. Highly recommend.
I ordered Chicken Quesadillas from this place. Literally, it is the worst food I’ve ever had in my life.
