There was a promotion buy 5 get one free for member which my sister was. However we were rung up for 6 cupcakes. I asked if she got the promotion a because she signed into her membership and the lady told me no I didn’t know you wanted that I charged you for 6. When we got to the house and tried them we were all very disappointed in the flavor and texture of the cupcakes we got. I personally will not return to this location.

I ordered a baby shower cake from here and added my own toppers. The cake turned out lovely and was one of the tastiest cakes I have eaten! Extremely moist, and she matched the color we wanted perfectly. We enjoyed chatting with the owner and her daughter as well. I did not know they made full size custom cakes in addition to their cupcakes; will definitely be back.

I'll premise with the primary reason I went was to get pupcakes. We've enjoyed Smallcakes before from other locations, so I had full intention of buying some cupcakes for my wife and children, but only along with.

The first time I arrived (1:25pm) she hadn't opened yet, which took another 10 minutes before the doors unlocked. She apologized she was having a late start. No biggie, we've all been there. At that point, she didn't have much of anything ready. I asked specifically about the pupcakes, and she responded it would be even longer before those would be ready. I asked how long those would be ready; 45-60 min. I understood and thanked her for the information and left.

I came back at 6. As she came from the back and saw me, she immediately started shaking her head no. After inquiring, I find out she hadn't even started making them, nor had any intention in making them. She them proceeded to give me a variety of excuses on why:
• was busy focused on orders
• was low of ingredients to make the pupcakes
• was closed tomorrow (Monday)
• going to be gone for 4 days after Thursday.
• even though it's on the menu, she doesn't have to make them

First off, if you have no intention of making them, just tell me so I can find other alternatives. That would've been better than stringing me along, then have zero remorse or care. Secondly, if the only suggestion you give is to go to another location, rest assured I'll definitely find other options than come here again.

Bottom line, this location probably doesn't care about you unless you place an online order, and be cautious even then. If you really like Smallcakes, I'd recommend trying the one in Richmond or Missouri City. While I personally don't know how they are, they can't be this bad.

I love the cupcakes here, they're always taste fresh and really moist. Highly recommend.

Always fresh and delicious. The owner goes out of her way to treat customers with kindness and appreciation. She even makes fresh batches when it’s almost closing time to accommodate the customer.
Small cakes Rosenberg will always have my business!!!!

I went here yesterday and had a most pleasant time. The lady behind the counter was kind and helped me figure out the best deal for my granddaughter’s gift. We had a great conversation. She was wonderful. She was working on a Sunday afternoon late and was so happy and friendly. And the cupcakes were outstanding.

My experience today at Smallcakes was exceptional! The costumer service we received from both the owner and staff was more than outstanding. Liz really went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and even delivered it to us! Words don’t describe how grateful I am for how AMAZINGLY she she treated us. And the cakes are delicious! We will definitely be going back for more!

I had such a wonderful experience at Smallcakes, thanks to Liz, the owner. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful in guiding me through my cupcake selection. Her recommendations were perfect, and you can tell she’s passionate about her work.
The cupcakes were incredible—moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were! Liz made the entire process so easy and enjoyable, and I truly appreciate her outstanding customer service.
Thank you, Liz! I’ll definitely be returning to Smallcakes for more treats soon. Also, that caramel frosting is to die for.

Quality has been consistently on point since the new ownership change. They mean business. Really good cupcakes, great selection of flavors. Cupcakes are moist, and well balanced. They sell out quickly.

Went in to get 1 cupcake for my sister's birthday and owner says that she doesn't sell single cupcakes and you must buy 2 making the total come out to nearly $10. She continued to justify her reasoning by saying how it was affecting her business and she was having to eat the cost of selling one cupcake...I literally don't care but im not spending more than what I came for.

Reply: if you read my review again, it says NEARLY $10, so clearly not misinformation bc what I said is accurate. As an entrepreneur, I get your explanation, as a consumer its giving greedy.
