Always stop by this place when we are visiting the Houston area. It’s a must for our family since we have a hard time finding good Mexican food in Austin. We have enjoyed everything from the caldo de res, fajitas, pupusas, and tacos.

Breakfast taco was DISGUSTING! Sloppy and soggy and the bacon tastes like the refrigerator it came out of. The Caldo Res literally came with uncut EVERYTHING in it and a glob of "beef" that was inedible.

Idk what compells individuals to go waste money at this place. It's overrated and sub par for Mexican food. I was so disappointed. Prices were outrageous!!!! I've had actual Authentic Mexican Seafood dishes and would happily pay the price quoted...but this place serves very sub par in comparison. Not returning...ever. one last thing get rid of those stupid beer cups for tea!!!!

Ordered 1 bean & egg breakfast taco & 2 potato, and egg tacos. Tacos didn't have any flavor, so if you don't like your food like that make sure to ask for salt and pepper. Both the green and red salsa could've used a lil more salt as well.
This is a fun spot for breakfast for us. The food is always good and they have some strong coffee. We have had some issues with service. They seem to usually prioritize the bigger regular parties when we visit. I get they are regulars, but it has been frustrating before. Staff is very nice, but don’t always check in for coffee refills or things like that. Haven’t tried lunch yet but it looks good. We have been going there for two years now and will continue to do so. Hoping to be a regular someday!

Stopped in for a quick bite. Tried the chicken Flauta platter . The Flautas were smaller than expected but filled with chicken . The side salad was tiny , guacamole was ... interesting. ( I don't eat guacamole, but this was palletable) Beans were ok , but dry . Maybe I should have asked for baracho beans .
