Well viewers I have to say I broke my rule "to never eat at a almost empty restaurant". I tried them anyway and see why. The food was bland but spicy with pepper. I ordered the bowl of seafood gumbo to go and this is what it looks like. Big cup of bland spicy gumbo and this small sauce cup of rice. I ask the waitress for some more rice and I waited almost 30mins for it. I asked her about my rice and she said, "oh I forgot" even after she came to take order from the lady next to me and brought her order to her

Stopped by during off hours, so there were just a few patrons. About 3 PM. We were greeted and seated quickly, staff was very friendly. The fish, oysters, and shrimp were cooked perfectly. We had a Cajun Crabcake appetizer and it was delicious. The one and only complaint, and it may just be me, was the coleslaw. It was a bit dry. More mayo and a bit more sugar, it would be perfect. The Red Beans and Rice was awesome. A wonderful place with great food.

I very rarely write reviews. I feel compelled to write one for the Lost Cajun because it is a shame it is not better. I was really happy to find a local Cajun food place when I moved here. The quality of the food is always stellar. They have started closing earlier than normal as a cost cutting measure. This is inconvenient, but obviously livable. They now close at 8 o'clock. I went in a little after 7 and ordered the pasta Lafitte. Was informed that you cannot order half the menu after 7 because the sautee equipment takes longer to clean...... OK. Highly annoying. Called to place a pickup order at 6pm the other day. Was informed that they had already shut the sautee equipment down for cleaning... At 6pm.....

Excellent service and we went at lunch with 3 hungry guys. The food was a hit and our waitress was very helpful with all of the food details!!

First Time Visit and we were NOT impressed. We thought we would give this neighborhood restaurant a try for date night .. Staff was nice BUT don't know what they are doing. The waitress brought us our Receipt and we hadn't even received our food yet ! We were puzzled, it wasn't as if the restaurant was packed , there were only 4 tables taken. I ordered the cup of Lobster Bisque and it was Terrible ! It was basically yellow/orange water with oil on top and room temp. I was disappointed... it was supposed to come out before my meal but didn't. I told the waitress, she told the chef and came back to tell us that " Chef said we are understaffed and that he KNEW that it was made wrong. WHAT that's Unacceptable ! Why would you still serve something and try to charge me for it and you knew it was made incorrectly ! (bisque was taken off eventually) I ordered Shrimp and Catfish plate with Seasoned Fries- they depended on the catfish to warm up the fries that were at the bottom. Room Temperature food is sad! My husband ordered Seafood Platter which was good and the Red Beans and Rice ended up being Room Temperature! I can say the catfish and shrimp were the only items that were hot and good tasting. We will not be returning. Management needs to step in and make some changes.

We have been here several times and normally the food is awesome but tonight the catfish was gummy and cold. Also the tarter sauce was past the date on the lid. Since this was carry out we did not take it back....... disappointed. No fish place has stayed up to par at this location

I just went to The Lost Cajun, Rosenberg, TX. Jeremy Hernandez was my server and he gave such good service to my family and I we will be returning!!! I almost had an allergic reaction to the Gumbo but caught it in time, and he made it so pleasurable for us...I will recommend him over and over again!!! Go see Jeremy!!!!! Give this guy a raise!

AMAZING!!! The staff was absolutely amazing, since it was our first time we got a sample to see what we liked (which was all of them). My daughter dropped one of her breads and they replaced it with two new ones. The food will blow you away. My husband wanted to lick the bowl, and he is very picky. We will definitely be back many many more times.

Food was bland they wouldn’t switch the supposed blackened shrimp for fried shrimp. I didn’t get my garlic bread and the shrimp are not even blackened like they said. Very disappointed ☹️ won’t be going back here..
