My family come here all of the time, and service is usually pretty good; however, not today. First we waited for someone to come and take our order, but no one came until we asked. Then the man who came to take our order seemed not to effectively take our order, instead he went on and on about not liking the meals made together with no seasoning cause it made it have a stinky smell, and about what was going to be on the menu next month. Finally Destiny came over and took our order. While ordering, my husband ordered the creole Arnold, and requested specifically the his eggs be made hard with absolutely no runny yolk. The lady confirmed his order then went to place it. When my husband's meal came back he began to eat it, and on his second bite alot of yolk came gooshing out into his mouth. My husband immediately pulled it away and wiped his mouth. It was disgusting and made him lose his appetite for that meal. The waitress came back and asked if he wanted something else which he would have had to wait for, and eat probably after we all finished. He asked for one pork chop and the waitress told him that he would have to pay full price for it. Now, while it's not at all about the money, it is about the inconvenience and poor experience my husband had due to his food being made wrong. I asked to speak with a manager, and the owner, or owners wife was sent to our table. She basically told us that it was just a little runny egg and the was nothing she could really do about it to accommodate for such an inconvenience. It was just really poor taste. As frequent customers, I stand on good customer service, and this just wasn't.

Toasted yolk was awesome from the atmosphere to the service. I had the brisket scramble with hash, and my hubby had the shrimp and grits. A side pancake as well. Everything was good, but I will say I loved his shrimp and grits more 🙈 Now the star of the show was the brunch app donuts we had. Fresh and delicious 😋 I ordered ranch water for the 1st time ever, and it tasted like nothing but soda water. There were no remnants of tequila. Probably wouldn't order that again. Our service was stupendous! I think his name was Greg, and he was more than attentive. We would revisit Toasted Yolk again.

Excellent service and food. Ed was our waiter. It was busy, but we were seated, waited on, and had drinks in 10 min, food shortly after. Good food to perfectly seasoned and exactly as ordered. The Golden Omelete was so good. We will go again!

My first time giving it a try I was traveling from Houston back home to Corpus Christi and it looked like a place to try out. I ordered a mimosa it was good. I sat at the bar as I was solo. Price was high for a brunch mimosa. I ordered black coffee. I ordered the brisket egg tacos. And they were very mediocre at best, very greasy and the brisket was far from good... I'm not sure calling that brisket in Texas is a good idea. I ordered fruit salad as my side, and it was mushy grapes and out of season cantaloupe. But the Cantaloupe was at least sweet. I did appreciate the service. The young woman Abbii who waited on me was very sweet, attentive and looked ne in the eye when we spoke. I also appreciated the atmosphere. There was a 16 yo bday celebration and the staff got everyone singing and that made me feel good. I also met a local couple at the bar and they were lovely. The floor was so greasy I had to wipe my shoes on their mats on the way out. Price is an issue at this place because the food isn't quality and good enough to be at that price point. I don't mind paying all for great food with excellent ingredients. The food was at best mediocre.

First time here, absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so nice, but Pedro knocked it out of the park! He explained the entire menu and made us feel very welcome. I was also pleasantly suprised at the bill, it's a great price-point for the quality of the food we recieved. Definitely going to come back!!

After being seated for 15 minutes we were never serviced, not even a drink order was taken. My wife and I finally just walked out. But the funniest thing was as we got to the door to walk out the (hostess/ manager? ) told us to have a great day…completely clueless. We won’t be back!

Started out great when they first opened but as time went by Service declined. No one to greet you or seat you at the door. And you'll generally spend $30 for breakfast for one person. Not my favorite place to eat.

First time trying Toasted Yolk, walking in the floor was super slippery. It was rainy outside so I'm assuming humidity, although it wasn't humid outside. It took forever to get service, the waiters actually weren't sure who was to wait on our table. 2 plates came out first (strangely the sandwich came last). The sandwich tasted amazing, but the sweet potato fries were not hot and we're a tad stale. Another person also complained their food wasn't warm enough. It took forever to even check out and they started closing about 30 minutes before close time. I plan to give another location a try but not this one.

First time visiting recently. First, walking to a table, the floor was STICKY. Noticed stains and smudges throughout the restaurant. Place needs a good wipe down.
Like a lot of the reviews, the service is not prompt, and I don't understand because it's not like they're extremely busy, and in that case, it would be understandable. It took a while for a simple drink to get to our table. Food took about 30 minutes, and it wasn't even luke warm. The vibe here just feels dry and empty.

after covid, things have changed so much that it is hard to find good places to eat, and this restaurant is not the exception. Personal appearance is so important in the customer service business, so i would recommend keeping an eye on that. The food here is ok. Service is fare.
