Torchy's Tacos

Update as of 12/4. No store contact and their customer service from website has gone silent…

So I love Torchy’s, but this is by far the worst location in Texas. 0/3 for correct to-go orders. Highly recommend either chipotle or going to the Torchy’s off of Hwy 6. Will leave this review up until someone contacts me about a refund.

Ordered a space cowboy (chicken) and got a Mr. Orange (Fish). Ordered a brush fire, without sour cream, and they still put it on there, despite the receipt even stating no sour cream.

You have to place your own order and the computer wants a tip still…yea right guys, come on. They got rid of the mango drink I really used to like, and the tacos went up. They’re not bad, but to worth $6 for some dried out meat. Torchy’s as a whole could definitely offer a better experience.

I REALLY try to like coming here, but EVERY TIME it takes 30 minutes to get my food, then it comes out cold. Some times the order isn’t right. The app doesn’t work so even if I try to order ahead I can’t because the app doesn’t work so I end up waiting for 30 mins. Most of the time the service is ok last night it was NOT. They knew my daughter and I were waiting on our order for 30ish mins and instead of bringing it to us (we were sitting at the table closest to the kitchen) the lady came out of the kitchen and put it on that order pick up place luckily I was watching the kitchen and saw, other wise we could have been waiting even longer.
2 visits ago we ordered 2 queso but only received 1. I didn’t even bother calling to get my money back.
I like the food most of the time when it’s warm and fresh, but the wait time and issues have been making me come less and less.
Ohh and the price. $40 for 3 tacos and a queso is a lot. We weren’t even full and annoyed we paid so much.
I’m bummed bc I REALLY tried to like this place!

It used to be a warm friendly place but now it seems empty. Too much automation. They lost the human touch. The food is good a good amount for the price.

I always have a great experience at Torchy’s, but Mia makes it even better! She’s super friendly, efficient, and always greets everyone with a smile. Even when it’s busy, she stays patient and positive, which really stands out. It’s nice to see someone who genuinely enjoys their job and makes customers feel appreciated. Mia is definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back!

Dined in and noticed they have the kiosk now, we didn’t get assistance untill we were almost done placing the order.
I believe this takes away from the resturant and not happy with the ordering process. My dad was placing the order and didn’t see anything we did wrong. When we got the food delivered the tacos all came on mixed plates. She then told us well you had to order it with guest count and that’s how you separate it. Seemed a bit rushed her answer. But also uniforms for the staff the partner is coming in and out the kitchen with shorts on just don’t think that’s a nice standard for the restaurant industry. And tacos took longer then usual and wasn’t busy.
Tortillas were cold. Only thing very enjoyable was the queso.

I haven't been to Torchy's for years. Tonight I wandered into the Torchy's near my new home. Kellynne was ultra hospitable and the food was good too. Good vibes in there. I think I'll keep coming back.

MIA was amazing! Helping me choose which was the best options for the Queso and also verifying with her Manager pertaining the “Free Taco” coupon id obtained from a different Torchy’s Location (Stafford) she was very nice and made me feel welcome upon entry! The food came out fast and was amazing! Truly great service from the moment I entered to when I left. Keep it up Guys!
