Omgeee a must for bbq!! Seriously! The meats are the best!!
I am not from this area but you can bet anytime I am in the area I will get yhe best bbq in Texas in my opinion. Was just there tonight and the brisket was amazing!
If you're looking for authentic, mouthwatering Texas BBQ, Witt Pit BBQ is a true hidden gem! From the moment you arrive, you can smell the smoky goodness coming from the pit, and you just know you're in for a treat.
I tried the brisket, ribs, sausage, and turkey—and every single bite was absolutely delicious. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect smoky bark on the outside, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The sausage had a great snap and was packed with flavor, and the turkey was moist and surprisingly rich in taste, which is hard to find!
Their sides are just as good. I highly recommend the mac and cheese—it’s creamy, cheesy, and a perfect comfort food pairing. The potato salad was fresh and balanced, not overly sweet, and the baked beans had a nice depth of flavor with bits of meat in them. Everything tasted homemade with love.
What really makes Witt Pit BBQ stand out, besides the amazing food, is the friendly, welcoming service. The staff clearly cares about their craft and their customers. They take the time to explain the menu, make recommendations, and check in on you with a genuine smile. It feels like you're eating at a family-owned place where quality and hospitality matter.
The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very fair for the quality you get. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, Witt Pit BBQ is the kind of place you'll keep coming back to.
This is real Texas barbecue done right. Highly recommend for anyone in the area—don’t miss out!
We ordered a whole variety. Usually my favorite things to order when I get bbq are brisket and mac. Those were just ok. Here, the items that stood out were the jalapeño cheese sausage, baked beans, and peach cobbler.
Delicious brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Super helpful staff.
Fantastic! We were looking to try a new BBQ place in our area, and Witt BBQ had the highest Google rating. Went there for lunch, and place was packed! Parking lot test passed. Very popular. We came back after lunch rush to order take away. Very friendly staff, and they took time to explain how they smoke their meat and prepare their sides. The brisket was the softest we ever had. Falls apart in your mouth. The other meats have a nice smoke flavor, and really good. We tried everything. Especially liked the boneless chicken thighs, which we had never seem in any other BBQ place. The sides were good, especially the buttered red potatoes. Definitely repeat. Seems we found our new go-to BBQ restaurant. Cheers!!
Well I tell ya what, if you ever find yerself out in Rosenberg, Texas, and you don’t stop by this here BBQ joint, you might as well just sell yer truck and start eatin’ tofu. This is the best dang BBQ I done had since Uncle Jeb tried to smoke a brisket on a lawnmower back in ‘07.
Soon as I pulled up, I seen cows grazin’, horses neighin’, and the smell of smoked meat hittin’ me like grandma’s cast iron skillet. You don’t just eat here — you experience it. Brisket so tender it dang near apologized before I ate it. Ribs slid off the bone like a greased pig at the county fair. I ain’t lyin’.
And don’t get me started on the sauce. Sweet, smoky, probably made with the tears of angels and the sweat of a Texas ranch hand. Folks were sittin’ ‘round on picnic tables talkin’ about tractors and fishing like it was Sunday at the feed store.
Long story short: If you like BBQ, and you like Texas, and you like cows, horses, and meat that makes you wanna call your ex just to brag — you better get on over here. I’m comin’ back next week with my cousins and maybe a goat or two.
5 outta 5 boots. Yeehaw.
Ribs n sweet tea 🤤. Y'all are ready for a larger location... parking is the only bother
Hands down The best barbecue joint in rosenberg, the ribs are one of the bomb..

Great BBQ, brisket was well made with flavor and tenderness.
Enjoyed this establishment. I don’t remember the individuals that served us but they were so kind. One was an African American man, he sliced the meat, I believe he had dreads. Wonderful guy. The other person was a woman that works the register during the week. The meat was flavorful, slightly on the salty side but I understood they were working things out. I’d like to revisit them again.
