Very good barbeque, loved the ribs and the jalapeno sausage. Brisket was a little on the mushy side for my taste, but probably would be great on a sandwich or potato. None of it needed sauce, great flavor profile with just the rub.And that's a good thing because the sauce was a huge disappointment... Too ketchupy for my taste, with a hit of cider vinegar. The sides were similarly underwhelming, beans straight out of the can and Mac and cheese like the lunch lady served you in grade school (mushy noodles and watery cheese)... they could at least throw them in the smoker for a bit and add some rub seasoning! But the star of the show was by far the danged nanna puddin. Heavenly doesn't begin to describe the pillowey, caramel infused creamy goodness that enveloped the vanilla wafers and banana slices. It was somewhere between a custard and a cheesecake, so darn good that I'd almost go to prison for the recipe. Do yourself a favor and get some. Now my last gripe. Parking sucks. Big-time. Don't expect to find a place to part between 11:30am and 1:00pm, this place is packed. I would recommend getting here early if you want some because the crowds come fast and start ordering party platters. We got there at 1030 and by 1115 there was a line out the door.Parking: About 15 spaces. No parking on the street or side street.

We tried to eat there Saturday evening. They ran out of beef. People were double parked. No handicap parking. Definitely not 4.5 stars. We went up the street to Schultz bbq. Their food was

So gooood. The meat has a great smoky taste and very tender. The sides are really good like the baked beans have brisket and sausage in it. Also a must have dessert of the banana pudding or peach cobbler.

I went today around lunch and all the staff was new. It’s a bunch a young boys. I asked for my usual lean brisket and received a BUNCH of fat. I will not return.

Love the food every time! We do takeout more and the one time we did dine in, the seating areas was quite empty. However, I still highly recommend trying it, especially the banana pudding ?

On a visit to Texas, you have to get some barbecue and I chose this place because it was close to my hotel and had good reviews. I got there after 6pm and was next in line when I heard only 2 brisket plates left. The guy in front of me got one and I was lucky enough to get the other. I thought about adding some ribs to my plate, but I'm glad I didn't as the portion of brisket was more than enough. I also love some barbecue baked beans, so I got those and mac and cheese as my sides. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was quaint and felt very welcoming. Staff was working hard on the dinner rush, as the line got significantly longer right after I ordered. As I was leaving, I even heard them turning people away as they were out of everything. As for the food, I might have made a mistake going so close to closing as the brisket wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Flavor was good, but it had definitely been sitting for a while. The beans were delicious, the Mac was good and the sauce was excellent. I also ordered banana pudding, but they forgot to give it to me and I was so focused on my plate that I didn't remember I even ordered it until after I left. That being said, I'd probably go back for lunch or an early dinner when the brisket was fresh and there's less risk of running out. If you're in the area, it's probably worth a stop as well.

We were visiting, and had Witt about a year ago then again last night. We really liked it a year ago, and last night was even better! Had lunch in Lockhart last week, and Witt was better than that. Incredibly tender and delicious brisket, pork ribs, and my in-laws loved the pulled pork sandwiches. These folks REALLY know what they're doing, and the sides and service are all excellent! Money spent here is money well spent.

The barbecue is great. The best in Rosenberg. The best in Fort Bend County. Some of the best ever.It gets very busy. The parking lot is bad. The worst in Rosenberg. The worst in Fort Bend County. Maybe the worst ever.Be patient. The food is awesome. The parking lot gets very busy and packed. The line inside gets long. The seating gets taken up. Go eat outside. Eat in your truck if you have to. It’s worth it.
