I had a loaded potato with brisket and a side of collard greens. The greens were hella salty. The potato only had bbq sauce, brisket, and cheese. The cheese smelled funny. I was very disappointed.

All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.

Today is Thursday. Their gate was closed at 4pm. No sign. Their phone is not being answered and no voice mail. We drove a long way to get here. Thought this was a legitimate business. Looks like it's a hobby. Do not waste you time on these amateurs.

The guy who took our order was nice. When I asked for extra sauce, the lady was extremely rude. They gave me a little 1 oz cup. I said oh I'm sorry I thought they were bigger, I need a little more than that. She got such an attitude and gave me another cup and said that should be plenty. Um...1 oz is enough for 5 people? Whatever. Maybe she needs a new "career" if she gets so bent out of shape over extra sauce. Her rudeness will make that little place fail. The only other issue is they should keep an eye on the tea and make sure it isn't old when they serve it to people. Good luck to keeping customers long term.

Parking: Located in a rural/residential area off a 2 lane FM road. Has picnic tables and a designated parking area. Friendly service at an owner-ran smokepit in shed type set up. Very legit.The fries and onion rings are cooked to order, so if you are going to do carry out you may want to call in the order. The brisket was awesome, thick cuts and very tender. Mild seasoning, yet very tasty.
