All the sides were great. Nice owners. Sausage was cut a little thin for my liking but flavor good, ribs a little boney and not much meat. I asked for lean brisket but this fell on deaf ears. Stuffed baked potatoes was awesome. I would return but express my preferences stronger. This place should succeed long term and moving a few blocks over to 521 would most likely ensure that.
Parking: Located in a rural/residential area off a 2 lane FM road. Has picnic tables and a designated parking area. Friendly service at an owner-ran smokepit in shed type set up. Very legit.The fries and onion rings are cooked to order, so if you are going to do carry out you may want to call in the order. The brisket was awesome, thick cuts and very tender. Mild seasoning, yet very tasty.
I was pleasantly surprised about this place, great food. It was a hot day so I waited in the car and it took them quite a while to make my order. But it was worth it. Price not too bad either.
