Food was just okay. Super cute place though. I would go again and try something different (I had the edge salad...lettuce almost past is prime).

Chef Gino, formally at Proste, and formally the Wednesday night chef at Boone and Company, has opened his own place in Brenham and Wednesday nights at Boone and Company are now run by Chef Juan, excellent Tex-Mex and Boone and Company's outstanding pizzas.

Great meal - new menu - very well prepared Mexican dishes tonight - flautas were crunchy and amazing and the taco appetizer was delicious

We had a fantastic lunch at Boone & Co. We enjoyed a pizza and the wedge salad and it was a perfect size for two people. We look forward to our next day trip visit to Round Top and Boone & Co.

Wonderful restaurant in Round Top, old vintage style in a high ceilings barn-like place. Great details, good food but terrible dessert, dry and tasteless. A pity, no questions about. But still a nice place.

Food was ok. We had the squash pizza, not a ton of flavor but interesting combination of ingredients. The fries were spectacular! Service was great and the atmosphere was also very cute

Growing up in La Grange & growing up coming to Round Top my entire childhood and now young adult life. I was so looking forward to trying out Boon & Co. since it’s new in town! My Husband and I came in today to eat lunch super excited about seeing the place, enjoying the southern hospitality I’ve always talked about when referring to those that work in just about any establishment in Round Top. I was greatly disappointed with our first visit & don’t think this will be a recurring stop while visiting family in town. It genuinely seemed like everyone working there was confused on what they were supposed to be doing. I would say it’s because it’s the start of antique week in town, but I’ve attached a picture and you’ll see that there were tables and tables empty. When we came in, we were immediately sat without a wait. Regardless of being sat instantly, we waiting about 15 mins for our waiter to come over (one the many waiters) when our waiter came, there was no “how are yall?” Or “hi guys!” Just “what would yall want to drink?”. Both my husband and I got tea, and I orders us the salmon tartare. When the waiter came back he only brought my husband a tea, and our appetizer, no plates. And vanished to never return back to our table. I waited 15 mins and then went to him to ask for my tea and plates for the appetizer, which felt odd to me since the whole time he wasn’t actively doing anything besides goofing off with other waitresses behind the counter of the dessert and drink bar and playing on his phone. When I received my drink, it was a club soda. But when I tried finding him again, the new waitress we got said he had left for the day? We saw this waitress at our table one singular time, when we placed our main dish order. This waitress never returned to our table either. Between the time we ordered food and received our semi warm sandwich’s we were asked by 3 other people working there if we wanted to order our food. Again, felt like maybe there was a lot of confusion, poor training, or lack there of before opening the establishment.

+ I would’ve loved to be able to bring my grandmother here to even try it out again possibly but the stone walkways and uneven areas around the restaurant are just not safe and really should’ve been more thought out, especially with the amount of elderly/older generations that live around or in Round Top and surrounding areas.

I wanted to love this restaurant, it is very beautiful from the outside and could’ve been a hit but think there will be quite a few issues when there isn’t a customer services forefront nor training for those in the industry.

Beautiful exterior and interior. Food was good but portions were kinda ridiculously small and expensive. I was prepared for pricing, but not the tiny portions and if you want sides - $10 each. I was expecting southern charm and felt more like I was being fleeced.
There were 3 in our party. Samon entree, salad, 3 crab cakes (appetizer), and 3 sodas. $81.00 before tip. I'm still hungry and plan on going somewhere else now to actually get some food.
