This has always been our go to place in round top during the shows and have always enjoyed everything weve ordered. Our server was great.
...This time it let us all down in several ways ... My 83 y.o. father was not very hungry but wanted 2 simple tostada's (beans & cheese) and they could not accommodate him...so I asked if they had a kids plate and the server said no. Really? Wow!
Rice on 2 of our plates was nearly ice cold.
To top it all off, they can't separate checks during the show. It's all on one card or cash.
We may give them another try in the far future but not any time soon.

The person who attend us Juan M L was very rude and unprofessional. Left a valuable item at restraurant and would not help or ask the staff if they found it. Very rude employee.

They specifically said the manager was in Katy and they didn't have enough people to bus tables right away. So when we showed them 3 empty tables the informed us they were still short staffed. And their attitude showed we were only bothering them . 3 other sets of people left as well. Terrible service. Never had the chance to try their food.

Mandito’s, wow how you guys have landed a place on my Apple map’s restaurant’s list. I’m surprised the tik tok influencers have not discovered quite an establishment. Coming from a boy from S. Texas, the large frozen margarita and the world famous nachos have truly found themselves to be…. World famous. We’ll be back.

The food is good. Just watch your bill, if you are splitting the ticket. They didn’t split ours correctly. So 4 people paid full price for a shared order of nachos.

The only thing in town, not too bad, it's just pricey. Lots of beans and lots of rice on the burrito, very little meat, very little toppings

Super disappointed in the food. The staff was friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the tacos al carbon. The refried beans were swimming in grease, both rice and beans had terrible/no flavor and I had to ask for a replacement tortilla because it was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Overall food experience was echoed by all four of us eating. And, based on what we got, I feel it was very overpriced.

I ate here on my first trip to Round Top. On most days, finding food in Round Top can be a challenge. I was happy to find this place open. Guacamole was good. Food was okay. I ordered tea and someone came around to give me a sample of a hibiscus tea and suggested I get it with vodka or tequila. The tea was good so I tried a drink. A small glass ( in bar lingo it’s called a short)…it was $12-$14. I was really trying to be nice since I got sales pitched. My meal for one was $50 and was a basic Mexican plate…enchiladas. In the Houston area, Mexican food is literally on every corner. I know the best places and competition is steep. This is not the best…it’s mediocre. However, to survive in a very small rural town, I do understand the pricing. I am a small business owner myself so I get the economics of it, and I appreciate them being open. I’ve been into sales for years as well…if you are going to sales pitch and ask someone to “try” something, maybe give them an introductory price? The drink was good but small. Overall, Mandito’s, you are appreciated. 🙏

Visited during after the 4th of July parade. The restaurant was a bright in colors and decorations but that was quickly overshadowed by the service and food. Service was terrible with the feeling that we were rushed. Once we sat down, we looked around and notice the staff was not very efficient and at times customers were left at entrance for sometime without greeting them or giving them an update on available tables. We were sitting close the hostess/entrance and realized they were very disorganized. Food took a while and once received, it was cold and greasy. Very disappointing.
