What a fun place! The environment, the service, the food - NOTHING was mediocre! I'd highly recommend this place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even with family after church. We will definitely be going back very soon and very often! Oh and those pies?!? It's a MUST!

Food is absolutely delicious!!!! I love the food so much I bought their cookbook. Well worth the stop.
First time here, the place was packed when we arrived. With a little wait we were seated. This is a family restaurant, with a little boy helping out (or at least trying to). Wish I had cash, I would have tipped him even though he wasn’t our server assistant.
The food? Amazing! I love trying the local cafes and the food was on point. The shrimp BTL was delicious. The wife had the Burger which was big and delicious also. Both came with a large helping of fries.
Restroom was clean, staff friendly, just had to flag down a waitress for refills even after the rush was over, other than that, this cafe is recommended. Follow them on Facebook to see their delicious food.

There was a little wait, but we'll worth it. I was surprised when I learned it was community seating, but we really enjoyed the people we sat with. I would definitely recommend making it one of your stops in Round Top.

The food was overcooked and we didn’t finish . My daughter who has severe food issues asked if there was a kids menu since the menu is limited to see if other options she could eat and her head was bit off by the waitress . We weren’t trying to get a cheap meal as she’s older than 12. . I’d gladly pay adult prices or more to find her something to eat . Lighten up even if it’s policy. The place is adorable and has a nice atmosphere but won’t return again .

This experience is a MUST in your life! Reservations are very important as the seating are is very small. The grilled lamb chops are perfect, the FILET is fabulous and the BLT is TO DIE FOR! I have had everything in the menu and I have never been disappointed.

We had an amazing lunch at Royers. My son said it is the best fried chicken he has ever eaten. The mashed potatoes were 100% on point. I had the fish sandwich and the chocolate cake - fantastic. Great service too, on a big busy weekend here at Round Top.

Came to Round Top for the first time from California. One of the things we love about Texas are the people, who are generally kind, gracious and super friendly. Royers is the exception! The staff were rude and acted like it was a privilege to dine at the restaurant. Service was poor and if we asked for anything, like a refill of water, the staff was put out and rude! The food was just okay, certainly not worth the time and experience we had. There are many other dining options in the Round Top area. I would not recommend Royers, even if it was the only place open for business!!!

From the moment you wanked into, you feel like you time-traveled. Good vibe, good food, good service. We shared the big table with other guests and we talked, laughed and had a blast.
