Not bad, nice clean place, we had to get to go but it was good even though we ate at the Airbnb. Would recommend. Would have been nice to been able to use their patio to sit and eat but it was closed and not clean.

They have very good service, everyone was very friendly. The food is very well served, the cuts of meat are of a very good size and cooked to perfection. The lemonade and tea were delicious and refreshing. From the outside it looks small but once you enter it feels larger. The atmosphere of the place feels rustic but frozen in time. If you are looking for a good cut of meat you definitely have to stop by to enjoy a dish.
Parking: I imagine it has to do with the schedule but it took us a while to find where to park.

How is it that I can get great steak at Steak Express for under $30, but get the toughest, most flavorless sirloin for over $80 at Lowake??? And the salad bar!?? CLEAN IT! Geezzzzz. Last Saturday was the “let’s give it one more try,” but that’s it. Waste of money. We ordered the sirloin - tough and flavorless. My sister in law ordered a KC for two - more gristle than meat, too chewy, and not cooked to order. The steak fingered looked refried, and the chicken breast was dry. It’s not even a shame. It’s disgusting to cheat people out of so much money.
Worth a 20 minute drive from s.a. for great steak. Plenty of other options if steak isn't your thing. Love the rustic feel of the restaurant.

The food was great as it always is. Service wasn't good this time around. Our server kept reaching over us, and when we asked her to bring extra napkins, she disappeared behind the wall separating the kitchen and was on her phone. She came out, and completely ignored me waving her down as she walked around, still on her phone. We ended up asking another server who was sweeping and she promptly and very politely brought us the napkins. Usually the service is awesome and we will continue going there because we love this place!
