I ordered The Sweet Potatoe Thang for a potluck for work and everyone loved it. I had to cut it in smaller slices so that everyone could get a slice, but it was more than enough to the way I cut it. It has now been placed on the list a a necessary dessert to have at all our events. I give it a 10/10. I also ordered a a turkey leg stuffed with cabbage, jamaican rice & peas, and a carribean sauce and it was full of flavor. The turkey leg meat was very tender with a smoky flavor. That's paired with the cabbage, rice & peas had me wanting more. I give it a 9/10.

When I say that it was worth the drive I meant it!!! Mercyyy the sweet potato thang!! I got 4...I don't know if I will share now.. after 1 already. I felt welcome when I visited today! New to the Texas area from Chattanooga Tn!!! I thank you all for the exceptional service I received! I will definitely return. I broke my diet today...I have no regrets either. ?

I initially went in to finally try the sweet potato thang. It was a Friday and I was pleased to learn that they offer plates on certain days. I got the sweet potato thang, a slice of red velvet cake, and the fried catfish, fries, and macaroni. The fish was friend nice and crispy. They sprinkled some of their house blended seasoning on the fish and fries. They were good but that macaroni was not right. It's not the type I would have expected. It was watery to me. I didn't really like the red velvet cake. I make this cake by scratch myself. The buttermilk flavor was really prominent. But I'm sure someone really likes it. Now the sweet potato thang was unexpected. It was really good. I liked the sugar cookie type crust and the potato filling has great flavor. I would come back again and buy a plate of food. I often patronize places that go viral in the dfw area. Keith Lee said the sweet potato thang was good and it is. I got to meet Ms.Niki she was so sweet her staff was as well. So she had a fried chicken day I went to the first one she had I was not pleased with my plate the chicken wasn’t crispy or fresh and the Mac and cheese was not that good either but the sweet potato thangs were so goodt! So after awhile I went to the fish fry Friday let me tell you this I will still support her however I’m going to stick with what Keith Lee said and buy the sweets. Local guide.

I came for the fish on Fridays. the fish plate is $25 and it comes with two sides and a small thing of coleslaw. The fish and spaghetti were good. I also tried the sweet potato thing which I truly enjoyed. The service was good and it wasn't a long wait. I will be back.

I visited after the raving review from Food Critic, Kieth Lee. The food is amazing! I've had the wings. They are absolutely delicious and the flavor is unmatched. One word of advice, the wait can be long. But I've found it to be worth it.
