The first impression was a young man on the porch opening the door for us. Wow! Yes. I said porch. This house is about 100 years old. It was a title company 25 years ago. We signed for our house in this house. We watched them convert this beautiful blue house into a restaurant. This was our first visit (as a restaurant). Everyone was very friendly. Three different people checked on us during our meal. Live band downstairs. We chose to eat upstairs. Plastic silverware helps the homestyle atmosphere. History nuggets on the walls. We both had Chicken and Waffles and homemade banana pudding for dessert.

Kid slouched in front as you open door and stepped in. Passed off to someone to seat us. Very none caring. Waiter was nice. Food marginal. Topping the evening off with an Upcharge if you use a card. I almost did not tip…. But it isn’t the staff’s fault. That is wrong.. that is cost of doing business. There is not one restaurant we eat at in this area that does this. Yum and so cute inside and out! Great covered patio and open space. Inside is adorable. Food was so good! We got the hot chicken which anyone could eat, we'd actually ask for hotter next time because we like it to burn ;) ordered the deviled eggs and the beet salad too. All soooo yummy! First time here and I just want to come back all the time now. Good think I work in Rockwall!

First visit. The vibe is dope. Cool, low light environment and lots of Motown and Stax keeping the grooves filling the room. Excellent fried chicken that is prepared fresh when ordered. Great flavor and a nice Mexican twist to the Signature Chicken. The homemade hot sauce should be bottled and sold to the public. It's damn near perfect for flavor and heat. Jenn the bartender was great! She warmly greeted every new guest that came in. She was very attentive and always made sure I was taken care of. I look forward to future visits to check out the different events they have like live music and open mic, and to enjoy an evening on the back porch.

For one who doesn’t really eat chicken but, as maintenance appreciation week at m job I wet to lunch with my coworkers and I really enjoyed myself. It was our first time at this restaurant suggested by our manager at Terra Lago Apartments we decided to go. We were greeted at the door by Jenn and she offered seating inside or, out and we chose outdoor. The weather was perfect and by it being our first time she offered us a sample. Might I say, “it was a delight”. She checked on us regularly until our order was done. I can tell you that we were very impressed with the quality and service of the restaurant until I know I will be returning soon. Thanks Jenn for the suggestion and service you provided us. Can’t wait until I return.

We split the b&b bowl and the forbidden chicken, both were excellent. Jenn was our sever, she was friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the visit, highly recommend.
