I love this Chicken Express. I will drive across town to come to the Rowlett location. I want to give a special shout out to Lisa at this location. She is fantastic! Always greeting me with a smile and knows what I want when I come through the drive-thru. I say give this woman a raise!!

Gave this place a shot earlier in the week and was not happy with the atmosphere. I walked in and greeted the cook, who was in the back, with a warm “Hello” and he gave me a look and proceeded to go about his day without acknowledging me. I then chose to eat else where simply because i didn’t feel welcomed. I had decided today, 01/3/2026, to give it another try and the staff here has certainly redeemed themselves. I was more comfortable with the faces i saw today around 2:45/3:00 pm. I then placed my order and Juan took very good care of me at and away from his register. Everything came out fresh and precise, all thanks to his work. I applaud the manager; Eric, for having a nice and friendly staff at this location on today. I should be coming back!

My food is always fresh and hot from this location. I love it. I mean always hot and fresh. And tasty. I hope they keep up these same standards forever.
My family and I have been going to the Chicken Express for at least 15 years. We love the food. Today they were out of mini poppers and it was a disappointment for our son. So ok that can’t be helped. I was standing behind someone who was picking up their takeout order and the man behind the counter disappeared and later came back to take my order. Why would you walk away when your customer is standing there ready to order. I ordered 3 orders and drinks and family size green beans. Got home and no green beans. This may be a one off but you can’t blame it for being busy. If you ever go there ask for the sweet older lady who is always spot on with orders and even has a smile. Maybe you think I should have checked the order but I’ve been spoiled. I thought that was their job.

We haven’t been to chicken express for quite some time as we don’t have one in the town we live in. We were running errands and saw one in Rowlett and decided to stop by. We received our food pretty quickly! It was hot and fresh, Lisa was very friendly and hospitable! We will definitely return!

Attitudes are horrible, they act as if they are doing you a favor serving you. There are two people who work there who are genuinely great servers. The rest have no people skills and even worst customer service skills. I don’t think the owner cares that much
