We tried this place on a whim today. Something lite and filling and this hit the spot for us. I had the The Hot Meat Melt with turkey, the turkey had really good flavor the jalapeno bread was soft and warm. My boyfriend had the same sandwich with stake and he himself loved it. We got to try some of the coffee that is roasted in Royce City, that was delicious no bitter coffee taste to it. And the Humphrey was DELICIOUS. We will definitely be coming back to this place.The owners were super friendly and welcoming I absolutely love this place!!!!
My boyfriend and I drive 40 minutes on weekends to enjoy the Hot Turkey Melt here. Well worth the drive. We actually buy two each ?? They’re that good.Happy to support Counter Culture as they open up their first location in Texas.

i'm not a huge sandwich lover but after seeing great reviews decided to bring my daughter and try. We both loved our sandwiches. The bread is fantastic - moist and flavorful. I had the hot meat melt with ham and jalapeno bread. She had the hot ham & cheese sandwich on poboy style bun . The yogurt was fanatic . Location was very clean and service was great!

The food was delicious! I had the hot tuna melt on sour dough and a cup of tomato soup. The service was great as well. Tyree was very accommodating! The ambiance is much like an any deli restaurant. It was very clean! They are known for their frozen yogurt.

Love the friendly and quick service, the large amount of items to choose from on the menu, and every single that we've ordered has been super yummy. Our favorites are the turkey melt on jalapeño sourdough, ham & cheese, and the David's drink (yogurt with honey, granola, and sunflower seeds blended together). The Humphrey is a delightful treat as well!

I was excited about their menu. On 1/26/24 I arrived at 5:56 pm, but the store was closed and dark even though the sign showed 6:00 pm as closing time. Also, the Yelp profile states the closing is 7:00 pm. WHERE WERE YOU!

Great sandwiches and great service! I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup without checking their hours first. Wasn’t able to make it there until 15 minutes after they closed. They were so sweet and stayed until I got there to get my order. Nobody wants to work late, especially on a Saturday night. Thank you for taking care of your customers, even the ones who goof up on a pick up!

OBSESSED with this place!! Definitely a new weekly dinner and lunch spot in our home. The stuffed avocado salad and the Humphrey yogurt are my go to’s, but everything we have tried has been really tasty!
