The service was good and up to date but given a bad review due to the managements lack of respect and suggestion. I asked to speak to the manger because some of the chicken like the orange chicken and sesame chicken was a little over cooked and or chewy, the ice cream was also not super great either and had a different flavor that wasn’t vanilla and tasted almost expired. When the attention was brought to the manager I was told that she had tried it and it was just fine and that it tasted like vanilla as if I didn’t know what vanilla tasted like and proceeded to walk away from me after the point. So, I paid up and here we are, food is going out of date and service is heavily flawed. Would NOT recommend; not at all like it used to be.

We have been going to Royal Buffet for several years, 1-2 times a month on average. 99% time the food is excellent. On only 1 occasion, were we surprised by quality. If you like Chinese food, Japanese Sushi, and Mongolian BBQ, then this place is for you. Also, if you like Mongolian BBQ, your spouse likes Sushi, and the kids like pizza and ice cream, then this is also the place for you.Vegetarian options: The Mongolian BBQ can be all vegetables or include tofu.There is a salad bar and a fruit bar.Wheelchair accessibility: My sister-in-law uses a walker and can easily move about the restaurant. The steam tables are at a decent height for wheelchair use, and the staff will assist.

Nearly everything on the buffet is old and warmed up repeatedly. They need not cook so much at one time and have to heat it over and over. The whole time your eating not once did the cook come out and add anything. All the tubs are full of food warmed up from lunch and night before. There enough food for 50 people at once to walk in and there 7 people in there eating. If they want that place to be successful they need to call me. I can help them

The food really wasn’t that great. Everything was pretty low quality to be honest. Some of the fried food was wet and sad. I’ve definitely eaten at better Chinese
Arrived at 2:45 pm, after lunch, but the food was still hot, fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll be back!

Been to many buffets in Chicagoland area. Discovered this place 5 years ago and this is my go to. Great selection and your plate is not filled with cooking oil after you done. A++++
