It's HORRIBLE CARRY OUT,,,,DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
I will start with the acknowledgement that many restaurants are struggling right now and have been operating conservatively to survive. I also realize that Rowlett is a restaurant wasteland so we adjust our expectations when we do eat out locally. This place is probably not going to be open much longer. Visited on a Saturday evening and sat at the bar for a quick and casual meal. Two very young people running the restaurant, service was adequate and they appeared to be trying to do the right thing. Chips and salsa came out quick...chips were good, salsa, not so good. Told my wife tastes like watered down ketchup. Noticed a large bottle of Great Value ketchup on the neighboring table, assumption is they are buying just enough for the immediate need. Also, could not find any napkins. All the paper towel holders on the bar were empty. Asked for napkins and the bar guy said, sorry, we are out. We asked our manager to get more but he didn't. How do you run a restaurant without any napkins?? He was able to find a nearly depleted roll of paper towels and we were lucky enough to grab 3. None of the occupied tables had napkins, guess everyone was just using their sleeves? Ordered Guacamole as appetizer. Quesadilla with chicken, spinach and veggies. Wife ordered the nachos with fajita beef. 5 minutes later, bar guy says, sorry, the kitchen ran out of pre-made guacamole and would need to make more. No problem, fresh is better. Then he came back and said they are out of spinach. Again, no problem, chicken, peppers and onions will work. Food came out and the quesadilla was fine but onions and peppers were barley cooked, hard...blech. Nachos didn't look great and she only ate about 10% before pushing it away. Not horrible, just not great. Guacamole never arrived so we asked the bar guy to cancel since we were almost finished eating. Bill arrives and...Guacamole $9 and spinach $1 were still there. Took several minutes to get the attention of the bar guy and he agreed to remove. Menus were nasty (old, dirty and falling apart), had to eat with a tiny Xmas tree directly in front of us and the gnats were all over. Random stuff against the wall, TVs not operating, clutter everywhere, etc. BTW, we intended to go to Asadero House first but there were zero customers in the restaurant on a Saturday eve so we settled for Senaida's. This was our first visit to Senaida's and definitely our last.

I love this place! It’s my favorite restaurant in town. The service and atmosphere are unbearable! The white sauce is chef’s kiss!

The service and atmosphere was so welcoming. Our server answered all of our questions. Drinks were good and the food was AMAZING. I will definitely be going back
Horrible service. Doesn't deserve any stars.

BEST freaking breakfast tacos on the planet!! I’m so addicted to them especially the spicy “orange” sauce. I would buy that stuff by the gallon if they sold it

Absolutely love this Mexican food. Every dish we tried was fantastic. Best beans anywhere! Rice excellent. The tortilla chips are thick and wonderfully crunchy. The salsa is just right, not too hot, not too bland. The street tacos are great and highly recommended. I tried both corn and flor tortillas, one is as good as the other. The birria sandwich is good, but next time, we will choose tortillas rather than bread. The burritos are huge and delicious. Loved the chicken flautas. They have just the right crunch. This food is a far cry from TexMex.

I haven't been here since 2020! 😱 Same fantastic #LoadedChickenNachos (+added lettuce)‼️😋 Still my favorite Tex-Mex nachos. Same great customer service.
Update 7/10/2025 :: I no longer eat chicken, so I replace the meat with black beans. Today, the server suggested I add grilled onions, and it was sooo fire!!!!! Still the best Tex-Mex nachos & I can only eat a half order!!! 😋🤤

I’m not usually one to complain about takeout services. However, this restaurant never ever has plasticware when you order to go. And always make sure you check because they’ll give you an order without any salsa. The first time I went, they didn’t have plasticware I said fine maybe they really did run out. But I’ve gone again and still they don’t have plasticware. There’s a family Dollar in the same strip for five dollars. You can buy whole box.

We tried this place and it was so good, we came back within one week. The carne asada fries are sooo good. We’ve also tried the molcajete and the birria tacos. All so good! All the servers we’ve gotten are very attentive and friendly. We’ve only had to wait for a table once but we didn’t mind.
