In reading some of the more recent reviews, I am totally shocked. But I can’t speak for them, I can only speak for my family and I’s experience. This is actually the second time we’ve been here. The first was for my brother in laws b-day and the second was yesterday. The other time we with a big party, this time it was just my wife and seven year old and I. We weren’t familiar with the “pick a seat” thing. But woman came out and said it is. Which was fine. We sat down and looked over the menu. We took a little longer to order but the waitress was very understanding. We gave her our drink order then our food. I ordered the Guanajuato enchiladas del pollo, my wife ordered the Yucatán chicken enchilada. My son got the chicken nuggets and fries. I dug into mine so quick I wasn’t able to get good photo. But did take one of the taco that came with it. Everything was so good. From the chicken enchiladas to the rice and beans. My wife got charro beans with hers and the were good as well. Not a single bad thing to say. Will definitely be making another trip here. It seems others had a bad experience, I can’t speak for that. This was ours. And it was great.

From the outside I thought "meh, I'm hungry. Let's try this place" the waitress yells "4? Sit over there!! " LOL love that! Food was amazing!

We were told to pick a spot when we walked in. There was only two occupied tables aside from us! A waitress came and asked for our drink order. I asked for a coke and she rudely said “Dr pepper or Pepsi I already told him” I had been distracted with getting settled so I said sorry Pepsi is fine. 10 mins later we’re still waiting for drinks and menus. I walked to the front and grabbed a couple menus for my husband and I. Our waitress walked out of the kitchen and followed me to the table with the drinks. She barks “Who got the Pepsi?” I looked at my husband confused but I say “uh, me!” She all but slams our drinks down and says “okay what do you want to eat?” My husband tells her we’ll need a few minutes. (I KNOW she saw me walk back with menus and hand one to my husband) She says nothing and walks away. For 15 minutes she stares at our table. We make eye contact multiple times trying to show her we’re ready. We think she’s headed our way a few times and she goes to the bathroom or leans against a counter. When we see her go to the back again I ask my husband if he’s okay with going somewhere else. I walked to the front to pay for our drinks and a lady older than the waitress helps me. She asked me a few questions ultimately trying to smooth things over but it wouldn’t have been worth it. We did not see a single smile on ANY of the staffs faces. Not a good vibe!

We're not a “make a scene” kind of family so we left and walked down to Alejandro’s for great service.

I don’t like this place the food is not good

Food was bad, customer service the worst, there is one extremely rude waitress that just makes the whole experience the absolute worst. Never going back.

OK… How did I not know about this restaurant?? This was our first time here and let me tell you it will definitely not be our last! I am always on the search for the best Mexican shrimp cocktail and I finally found one that is not sweet! The margaritas are legit! With a tajin and Chamoy rim option!!?? Even better! Also, on Friday nights, you can find live music next door in the square and grab a margarita to go. The salsa was ? amazing! And I am a HUGE chips and salsa gal. Everything was fresh and delicious. The bathrooms are super clean, and the staff is very, very friendly. 10/10 would recommend. ??

I normally don’t do this but today It’s a must leave a review. If the waitress don’t know how many drinks we have and she took the order that says a lot. Out food came with tortillas and she never brought them out. When we asked for them she asked, how many orders? LoL if my plate comes with an order of tortillas that means each plate that had it, must need their tortillas. My point here is this, if you help a table please write things down and pay attention who orders what. That says a lot from you and your guest will appreciate that type of service. It’s out first time here and let me say that it’s the last time. Arboledas next door has a much better quality food and service.

My family and I love coming here. The staff and owner are amazing. Food is so good. Our favorite Mexican restaurant hands down.

Kid-friendliness: My son doesn't like Mexican food, so I was happy to see they have chicken nuggets.

Didn't actually eat here, but it seems like it could be very good and quite authentic. (for Texas standards)I stopped in to just buy a dozen tortillas .. but only walked out with half a dozen as tortillas are apparently super expensive nowadays. (Like everything else )

Very clean and with excellent service

I was very impressed with the menu, very extensive, for all tastes. The food was exquisite! I loved the salsas! Our waitress was super attentive and friendly! Best Mexican food in town!
