We drove to Rusk with our son who was visiting us from San Antonio. He's an Astros fan. The food was so good, but the people were amazing! The owner was so kind and answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place.
I try to be fair and over all the food was good not the best I have ever ate however being out in the middle of know where it is what it is. We have stopped several times coming from Lufkin to Canton for work and we have had the brisket sandwich that was pretty good that is 4 stars. We had some of the bratwurst sausage and it is way over priced for what you get. The turkey sandwich was good no issues. The people who work at All Star Bar-B-Q in Rusk Tx act like they work in...
First, the service was not bad. It was just the middle of the road. The food was great. I had sliced beef and sausage with potato salad and coleslaw slaw. Price is about what you'd expect for a BBQ joint in this day and age. I can recommend them and would gladly eat there again.
