This was the 2nd visit to this establishment...I will say I'm not sure where the bad reviews came from. This restaurant was exactly what I expected from a small town East Texas eatery.The dining room was clean, the tables were clean. The waitress was fast and efficient. This restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a quaint, small-town East Texas cafe. You don't stop at a place like this if you're in a rush, although we never had to wait long for our food. This is the kind of place where the locals meet, eat, and talk about the up-and-coming high school sports stars and how the weather is impacting their ranch. It is a whole cultural experience. The burgers don't disappoint, the onion rings are homemade. Everything is awesome!
Love, love, love their crawfish! Seasoned perfectly with no numb lips. Always a plus!We ate until we could’t anymore so we made Crawfish Étouffée the next day. ?If you’re lucky, they show up in your city, set up, cook and sell crawfish and shrimp by the pound (usually on Fridays).
