Sorry Cajun loving folks. I had gumbo, fried oysters, and fried fish. Must be real here. The food had no flavor. None. 1-10 rating: Gumbo-5. Oysters-1. Fish-5Was traveling and 1st time in Rusk, Tx. Nice small town. But sorry, this food does NOT rate Cajun. No where near.The waitstaff made up for disappointing food. Real sweet young ladies. Prompt. Smiles.

This review is for non locals!! If you are driving through... Good food. Some great fried seafood. Might be pricey, but with 2024 prices..maybe not. Everything was good. Salad is iceberg, with kraft dressing...but they bring the bottle so you can control that. Not a single complaint about any food. For the locals...better fried rice than I have seen outside of Peking in Nac. Much better that what you find now days in Houston.

Delicious! The food and service were great. We ordered takeout and our food was prepared fresh. The seafood had great flavor down to the sauces. I had the Fried crab, shrimp, crawfish. I will definitely eat here if I am ever back in the area

I had the fish shrimp and crawfish. it was pretty good. I also got the egg rolls, and I have to say that they were very good.Along with the sweet and sour sauce that they had, which looked like it might have been homemade, and it was very good. I don't live in Rusk, but if I ever passed through, I would stop

The food is good, the servers are friendly. The atmosphere l rated low because their is an angry looking oriental man staring down his guests as they dine. Not welcoming at all! I won't be back!

This place is fabulous. They have the best seafood outside of the Gulf Coast. Actually, it puts some of them to shame.I can't say enough. The fried oysters are my husband's favorite and they are always amazing.I get the grilled salmon with veggies. SO good.Their desserts are so yummy, I never turn them down.They used to be Jacksonville Seafood.
