Wow…definitely a hidden gem hole in the wall for Sachse & Wylie residents. Portions, quality, quick & friendly service. Food came out fresh and delicious as expected with hearty from the Chef. If you enjoy Korean food like I do. You must give this place a try. Will definitely be back soon for more especially Bulgogi!!!

I was really in the mood to have Korean food and we decided on Bop Joa, since it was closer than others. The servers were super kind and patient with us while we made our selections. I had the Seafood Soondubu with the Korean Pear Drink and my boyfriend had the Tteok-bokki. We also ordered the Yang-Neum Chicken. Our meal came with cabbage, eggplant, radish, and fish cakes as side dishes. The servers came out to check and make sure we were happy with our meals (they were perfectly spiced, thank you!) and made sure our side dishes didn't run out. Our server also brought us desert without prompt - which was very very good. We wound up taking a lot of food home with us and they helped us get everything together and packed. The place is relatively small, not a lot of tables, but the art displayed was beautiful and I'd like to see more Korean artists featured. Definitely worth visiting to try something new or familiar.Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable only options are available. Most of the sauces will probably have animal broth or stock.

Randomly tried Bop Joa because the Google said it was the closest Korean restaurant to my location. It is now my favorite Korean restaurant. Staff was cordial and helpful. Food was amazing and good portions for the price. Ordered spicy and wasn't let down. The peppers woke up and chose violence. Not so bad I couldn't enjoy it but definitely cleared my sinuses. And banana brulee at the end sealed the deal.

I should probably try other dishes but when you find something you love it's hard to deviate from it. I always always always get the spicy pork. They are friendly and personable. It's a small and quaint dining experience though I usually get mine to go cuz yanno people blech

This was by far the best experience i’ve ever had at a restaurant in DFW. The staff were amazingly sweet and attentive, and gave us the most amazing experience for our first visit. The food was so so sooooo good! This will be a regular spot for us going forward!

Each time I've been here, the staff has been really nice. I've only ever gotten the bulgogi meal, but that's because I love it so much! I can't speak to their other food, but their bulgolgi is really good quality for a fast food type restaurant. I always get my food quickly, and the portion size is great. I highly recommend giving this place a try!Parking: They are in a shopping center, so they have plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

Homestyle Korean cooking in a welcoming, unfussy environment. If you like Korean food, you’ll enjoy this place. If you haven’t tried it, even better as the server is happy to explain what everything is and give recommendations.

The moment we came in, the owner I believe greeted us warmly and love!!love!! the atmosphere! I felt comfortable, he really made sure our food was to our liking and he gave us korean pepper and soybean paste I think (REALLY GOOD COMBO) to try. This was our first time here and we’ll definitely come back.P.S portion was AWESOMELY generous, worth every penny.I recommend the yangnyeom chicken and their bulgogi + japchae platter

Presentation of food was pleasant. Bulgolgi was very oily but okay, rice was fresh, japchae lacked flavor. My complaint was the server. He rarely made eye contact/engaged in conversation with me, he only engaged with my friend. Then he looked at my plate and exclaimed, “You barely ate anything!! It looks the same when I put the plate on the table”. That made me super uncomfortable to be called out like that… especially where everyone can hear. Firstly, I did eat and what is it to you if I don’t finish everything on my plate?? I’m taking it home with me. Secondly, engage with all patrons at the table. It was me and my friend’s first time here and don’t think we will be back again.
