Food is great but seems very overpriced for TexMex. $10 for a cup of queso? $9 for guacamole? $15 for a cheese enchilada plate? I realize things are more expensive now but...

Not your average Mexican food place. Great food, fantastic service. I had the brisket enchiladas which were actually mashed potato enchiladas smothered in brisket - they were amazing!!

This place is the best. The atmosphere is fun, the staff are amazing and it’s easy to spend more time than planned if you sit at the bar and get to talking. Truly a hometown staple that shouldn’t be ignored.

I'd driven by Frankies dozens of times and finally came in last week. I was pleasantly surprised. Its food was about what you would find at a small Tex Mex joint, which is to say: not life changing but still felt home cooked and relieving after a week of being on the grind. The staffs warmth was a welcome surprise and the LOCARITA did its job. So all in all: 4 stars.

Small homely place perfect for my family of four. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. The people were super friendly and my waiter Daniel was top notch. We had refills without asking and I didn’t even have to ask him for a sweet tea to go (I was going to ask). We had chicken fajitas for two and we share with our kids. We had plenty to go. The chicken was super tender and had a wonderful flavor. I always drove by this place and tonight we decided to give it a try. This will be a new regular place for me and my family. Total for all four of us was sixty bucks.Parking: Plenty of room to park!!Kid-friendliness: My kids were more than happy so I say that’s pretty kid friendly for us.

We're new to the tex-mex scene, so perhaps our expectations were too high. The carne asada was bland. Needed salt and a hotter sear. My wife took a bite of her burrito ranchero and was done. Rice & beans were ok. We resorted to the chips & queso to get full. All that being said, the service was very friendly.
