We tried Hat Creek for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Maybe it was just this location, but we were not impressed. Thankfully it was nice enough to sit outside because inside it smelled like septic and nasty mop bucket water. I tried the Bacon Royale. It had one tiny half piece of bacon, weird tasting spread, and was smashed when I unwrapped it. We splurged on the fries and queso, but it was so watered down it was like dipping the fries in milk. Part of our order was not included. The gentleman who served us was nice and corrected the error right away, but it was still annoying after already waiting 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. The seasoning on the fries was good, and my wife said the ladies' restroom was clean, kudos for that! It's a shame we don't want to return, the playground was fun and it's hard to find places with a nice play area these days. If the owner is trying to cut costs, I recommend cutting back the hours of the the guys who sat eating most of the time we were there. We did appreciate the courteous attitude of the staff we interacted with.

Basically awful, think a bad experience at McDonalds at triple the price. Burger was awful a giant piece of lettuce doesn’t cover the bad taste of this burger which was drowned and I mean disgustingly drowned in a less than good mustard. Inedible. The hamburger was trash. The only reason they got 2 Stars was the sweet potato fries would have actually been good had they been introduced to my friend SALT! smh, do better Hat Creek. This used to be a decent fast food burger. Apparently no more. It’s overpriced garbage imo.

The burger is dry but still good , fries are re-fried.. not good . Best thing was the lemonade.

This Hat Creek location has a nice playground for the kids while the adults can visit. The staff is always friendly and the food is really good. We have a family member who can't have gluten. They are the only eating establishment within an hour of us that provides gluten free chicken. It is worth the drive!

Burgers are pretty good; but, I find them mid. Fries are really good, though. Atmosphere is REALLY LOUD.

Also, the last time we were there, some little boy on the playground (maybe 4/5) decided he should stand on a table and take his winkie out .....

Just moved to Sachse and this was my first fast food visit. Excellent burger, sweet potato fries and chocolate peanut butter shake. I will definitely be back!!
