They also have a good set up for Darts, which is how we ended up there in the first place.

Sachse Ice House is an okay spot overall. The vibe is decent and the drinks are priced fairly, but nothing really stood out enough to make it great. Service was fine — not bad, just a little slow at times. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, which is nice, but the place could use a bit more energy or attention to detail to make it feel more inviting.
It’s not a bad place to stop in for a quick drink, but it’s also not something I’d go out of my way for. Solid middle-of-the-road experience.

Typical dive bar. Smells kinda bad. A little dirty, could use an update and some music or something. Really dead in there. Good place to get a cheap beer on the way home though. Just wouldn’t wanna hang out too long.

Great service, however all of the Steely Dan albums (most) that are available on the jukebox are incorrectly listed with the dates of their release. For example “Katy Lied” was released In 1975 however, is incorrectly listed as being released in 1999. This is obviously impossible because the album was released by ABC Music in July of 1975. This contributes to the -1 star to atmospheric value, as It was slightly more difficult to sleep at night knowing that our youth may be being misled regarding musical overlords at their lore.

Appetizers don’t taste like your usual frozen garbage. If they’re frozen, they’re doing a good job hiding it cause they’re pretty good. But I have a suggestion for the fried pickles - they need to be cut thicker. They’re too thin so it soaks up a lot of grease and ends up tasting like fat and batter…
The drinks are also great. Not watered down with fair prices… even when they’re on special. I had an LI tea and it was just as strong even when it was on special.
