Worst Sonic location I’ve ever been to. Speakers don’t work or staff can’t hear. Service is INCREDIBLY SLOW AND INEPT!! Corporate office should really stop by this location for a quality inspection - definitely a black eye of the corporate brand.

UPDATE: David, you are the G.O.A.T! Still a great place to eat love that they have stalls you can eat at and not feel rushed to finish. And my kids loooove coming to this location.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I came here tonight, thinking that they closed at 1am (after looking on google), but it was an honest mistake. Unknowingly, I walked up there and pushed the button and was about to ask *respectfully* if they were closed or not just to confirm. I work in food service so I would never try and be a rude customer, but before I could even open my mouth to ask a simple question, the man VERY RUDELY said “um we’re closed” to which I replied “oh y’all are closed?” and right as I was about to apologize and walk away the man again VERY RUDELY goes “can you not tell?” with a very disrespectful attitude. There was no need for that rudeness and I will be sure to contact the manager/company to report him. Please never eat at this Sonic.

Consistently wait at least twenty minutes when we come here. My mom has currently been waiting for nearly thirty minutes for cheese sticks and drinks. Why??? Hoping the new Sonic on Merritt will be much better.
I used to come here several times a week for a soda and treat. The last 2 or 3 times I’ve waited up to 20-30 minutes for my order, even after checking in on the app and waiting for cars to thin out. I’m done with this location.

I waited over 20 minutes for just three small slushes. Meanwhile, people who came after us with full meals got served before we did. I buzzed the stall multiple times — no one responded. Turns out, there was only one person working the drive-thru, handling order taking, pickups, and everything else by himself. On top of that, there was only one cook in the back. That’s overwhelming for them and completely unprofessional for a business. To make it worse, they forgot the mustard on our food. I was trying to make it to KFC before they closed, and this delay completely messed that up. Sonic needs to get it together — this kind of service is unacceptable.

I have lived in Sachse for 11 months and have visited this sonic approximately twice a month. Service is usually bad. I dont like onions and they are always present on my food. I have even gotten sick a few times. I drive to Wylie for sonic now. Update: I gave it a few more chances in 2025 and they're still consistently failing to meet basic expectations at this location.
