Got the 2 meat plate... Brisket & Ribs, mac and okra. Loved everything except the mac. It wasnt good and the regular Pepsi i think they had diet mixed up.
I'll be back for the proteins definitely.

I’ve been coming to this location for over a year. Today I wanted just a rib sandwich but I was told they don’t make a sandwich with anything that has a bone. Now I was offered to buy ribs and bread separately. Now what’s the difference. They make more money selling it separately than satisfying a customer. I declined and just watched my companion eat. This will probably be my last visit . Thanks but no thanks.

nice atmosphere service ok nobody working the front seated myself I'm use to going to places with someone saying hi the min I get in feeling that good mood invite didn't get it here oh well but good price but after that man the food needs work and I'm talking about the sides I had Mac n cheese potato salad BBQ beans..... Mac n cheese ZERO flavor over cooked ive never had flavorless Mac n cheese salt n pepper couldnt even save I'm pretty sure the salt/pepper walked off the plate, the cheese is weird watery I'm not sure if it's even cheese , potato salad isn't that it's dry mashed potato with mustard BBQ beans tasted like it came from a can and dry I can't image the staff actually eating the food. This is TEXAS known for BBQ if your sides are trash then it takes away from the experience of the meats someone needs to taste it before they serve it or revamp the recipe. You have everyone in the kitchen wearing gloves but the lady up front touching everything, her hair the trash can next to the table no hair net I can go on but not once washing her hand and then proceeded to make my pork sandwich bare handed sticking her fingers in pickle and onions with her long fake fingernails who knows how nasty they are. Be cautious here if she's what reflects hygiene standards here.

I ordered a portion of beef ribs, which were quite large and juicy, and the meat had a woody aroma. The only downside was that it was a bit fatty. Although I usually like fatty food, it was still a bit fatty for me this time.

I always love catching up with friends here. The entire staff is friendly, food comes out quickly, and is a great price point. The specials are my go-to! And the okra batter has to be a secret recipe from someone’s great-great-memaw! DELICIOUS!!!
Ona work trip. Ordered the big nasty aka frito pie. It was good cheese not really melted. Also tried the brisket. They cut it with the grain so it was the consistency of a pot roast. Uber disappointing this is the land of brisket. The flavor saved it but I would avoid the brisket for sure if I return.
