After being seated and waiting for about 20 minutes, I was going to order my usual: cheeseburger and onion rings. Instead, I was handed a Wednesday/Thursday menu. This menu has very limited number of prepared sandwiches or a hotdog. Very disappointing!!! Again, after waiting another 15 minutes to place my order, I left. When I first entered, I saw others waiting to be served their meal, and when I left, they were still waiting for their meals. Therefore, I thought, since I had not had the chance to place my order, after 45 minute, it would take another 45 minutes to an hour to be served my meal. So, if you have a lot of time to kill, like taking a hike or watching a movie on your phone, on a Wednesday or Thursday, avoid having lunch at the Cornudas Cafe. Again, a very disappointing experience!!!

This place says they serve the world's best burger and they might just be right! The green hatch chili was a game changer. My family was passing through and this was the only resturant for miles and miles. They did a great job taking care of us. The atmosphere had that great route 66 vibe. Food was delicious. Very happy a little oasis like this exists in the middle of the desert.

Great events, my wife and I went for the first time, last Saturday 26 July for the salsa tasting contest, it must have been over 30 different salsas, they were all good and some were great, it was a great awesome environment, friendly atmosphere, two live music bands, good food and I got to meet and talk to alot of veteran brothers and sisters in arms, place was full of friendly people and staff, we'll be going back August the 2nd for the BBQ event.

Cornduas texas Was located as being part of the original wagon train as it went through Texas. The store is really cute. Lots of stuff in there to look at like the Slim Pickens hay bag souvenir. The history is great, but one of the favorite things about this place is how they decorated their legs underneath the tables. Looks like Cowboys standing under there to hold up the table top, lol. What I didn’t like was one of the coldest kinda rudest employee that I’ve met on my trip I didn’t bother to catch her name. All in all. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Let me tell you, I totally fell in love that day. The whole atmosphere is awesome. Very laid back, the people are super friendly and the food is so delicious. It may be in the middle of nowhere but it is so worth stopping by. I highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!!! 💜💜💜
