My first and last visit here. The eggs were good and the one slice of toast other than that yuk! The “home style”potatoes are dry as rocks sausage too! They spent more on the tables and chairs quality than they did the food quality! I love supporting local places so disappointed with this place. How the heck do you screw up breakfast? That’s like screwing up a pbj! ☹️

This was my first visit I had breakfast with my wife. The only thing made fresh was the eggs. The sausage, the potatoes was hard and dry like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I feel their over priced for the amount of food and quality of food received. I will never return.

Breakfast wasn't bad, but for 1 egg, 2 pcs. bacon, hash browns, 1 piece of toast and coffee. Was $15.14 I understand businesses need to make a profit but damn......

A very cute Americana roadside joint that serves good food and has lovely staff who greet you with a smile and a great attitude. If you hate chains, stop there on the way between Dallas and Oklahoma

I don't know where these 5 and 4 star people ate because our food was horrible. I don't know where they took the pictures either. The pot roast was in a bowl and was a weird color. It was bad.

We decided to try Lone Oak since it had been two years since we had been there. Husband ordered steak fingers on the Blue Plate Menu for $14.99. They brought out aa plate with TWO steak fingers....looked like a child's plate. The salad that came with it was child sized...it was served on a small bread plate. He complained and was told there should have been THREE but one fell off and the server threw it away and forgot to inform the cook. They would cook another one. My french dip sandwich was on a bun the size of a hot dog bun...had little on it and was not good at all. It came with fries and was also served on a small oval plate...sanchwich, fries and au jus...there was more au jus than food. We will NOT be back!

Albeit being overpriced for an old fashioned eatery style lunch the food was hot and tasty. Probably not going to be a place we go to very often due to said prices and utilitarian service.

The food has been great every visit and the wait staff is tops! Noisy when full but overall a great place to eat!

Eggs were fine, first cup of coffee was cold. Hashbrowns were so salty could not eat them. Bacon was okay too. They could not take cash, no change, terrible. Won't be back.

Service was great. No biscuits available on my trip so that was a downer. Chicken and waffles was good. Chicken strips appeared to be hand cut which is a plus. This is an out of the way spot worth a stop.
