I've been a customer of Boyd's (Santa Fe & Texas City) locations for several years and I've NEVER had crawfish that taste as bad as those I purchased from the Santa Fe location on Saturday, 6/7/25! They were not cleaned well at all... had snails in them and were gritty! The seasoning was lacking as well and they had a strange taste, like the water was old...almost like a sea water taste (it's hard to explain). This was so disappointing because we purchased 10lbs and the free 1 lb of shrimp given w/ order were not good, either! Horrible!!!

I may not be a taste guru but I know bland crawfish when I taste it, remind of the crawfish from Heb than they charge you a dollar for any piece of egg potato or sausage add on) you do better buying them raw & seasoning yourself unless you just like small bland crawfish

My absolute favorite crawfish place ever. I'm sorry, but everywhere else doesn't compare to the flavor they provide here. The depth of flavor is immaculate and can't be found anywhere else at least outside of a home boil. some great service here as well always very timely. 10/10

This place is crazy good. Drive up service didn’t have to get out of my truck. Preordered the Prefered crawfish and they were huge! I probably had less than a dozen dead ones out of two 35 lb bags. Best crawfish boil I have done in the last 10 years. Boyd’s on Hwy 6 - if you want great, fresh crawfish at a very reasonable price and best customer service you need look no further. Thanks guys - save me 2 more sacks of the good stuff for next year. :-)

The service was exceptional, they met me at my passenger door window and asked my name and brought my order and put it in my cooler in the back of my truck. Everything went smoothly.

Can’t stress this enough I LOVE IT HERE. The deals are just so amazing and worth it for my crawfish lovers ! Don’t get scared if you see a long line because I promise you they definitely keep that line pushing.

Bought 3 sacks of preferred for $250 on 5/2. Picked up at 6pm and kept them in the bag in my cooler with a little ice to keep them u til today. Pulled them out to wash in the cooler before the boil and over 1/3 dead. Store policy is they won’t do anything about it. First time using Boyd’s and never again. Save your money and buy better product elsewhere.
I’d say we definitely got ripped off… we reserved 1 sack of field run and 1 sack of “preferred.” Both sacks were a mix of small and medium. I could say we had about 10 “preferred” size crawfish. Very disappointed.

Picked up sack there this morning and was in n out within 5 minutes. All of the crawfish were decent size and they weren’t that dirty either. No dead ones. I chose the preferred select. Can’t beat the price. This will be my new GO TO for crawfish.
