Wine is ok not too great but good for Texas. The self tasting doesn’t work or has multiple bottles missing. When we went there was a selection of 4 bottles. Also I attended an event in cellar room and it was a nice little place but staff seemed annoyed. I was asking lady for more information on wine and she seemed irritated taking a deep breath to answer my question. Then around 8:45 a lady started yelling that it’s closing time and we all need to leave. Very unprofessional. Anyone that was interested in booking this cute little room for future events were quickly changing their minds. Also restrooms had no toilet paper. 2 stars for a beautiful building and well decorated place

This Viking-themed winery is an absolute gem!
The wines are top notch—loved the mead while my husband enjoyed the meridian. The views are gorgeous, and the sunset over the vineyard is not to be missed.

We’ve visited several times and always have a great experience. The Fab 5 event had my parents up dancing and everyone singing along. The Renaissance Festival event is a must add to your calendar as it is a fun night that supports a great cause for the Galveston Food Bank. POB had the place rocking, and ending the night with an outdoor movie on the grounds was perfect. The events really shows how much the winery is committed to building community.

There has only been a few places I've been to that made me feel at home. This is one of those places! On top of that the Air B&Bs are comfortable in every way! They even have a wine for everyone, which you can try at anytime!! Definitely a place you will see me throughout the year to include the Galveston County food drive!

Awesome venue in Texas, been here a few times and last time was during a bingo event. Very well managed event. I've always been impressed with the wines here until today when I purchased a bottle of Garnet. This must be the worst wine I've had in my life, especially at $38. Absolutely unacceptable. Aired out the wine a few minutes and first hit on the nose was a punch of vinegar to the nose. Got over that, but the notes on this one were absolutely horrendous. A $3 bottle from Aldi is better than this. I'm surprised Haak would put this out for consumption. Talked to the wait staff whom I purchased the wine from to determine if there was something they could do about it like offer credit towards another bottle and the wait staff at the bar was very rude and simply said, sorry you already opened it. I guess we won't be back for some time or ever. I'm very saddened by this experience.

Robin was an amazing tour guide! She’s sweet and funny. We got to try 5 of our favorite wine types and a special glass at the end.

This was our first time at Haak Vineyard and Wintery, and we had an amazing time. Robin was a great tour guide! She greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. She was super knowledgable about the history of the winery and about the wines we were trying. She was personable, funny, and makes me want to go back for another visit. If you go to Haak for a wine tour, be sure to ask for Robin!

Our wedding was at Haak Winery in March and we had the most amazing experience and lovely wedding day! The venue is perfect for both smaller and larger weddings. Our wedding coordinator Kristen Wollenberg, and the entire staff at Haak, were incredible and made everything a breeze. The whole process ran smoothly and we were never stressed out about anything as Kristen was always available and made sure everything was perfect. All of our guests keep complimenting on how nice and beautiful our wedding was! We’re so incredibly happy we chose to have our wedding at Haak!

Haak / Kristen was wonderful, it was the only wedding venue we toured that made us feel like we weren’t being swindled. We toured 5 separate wedding venues aside from Haak. Haak was very clear about what we got for the price and delivered wonderfully on everything. The wine, food and cake were all delicious. We went with all the vendors that Kristen recommended and it was great! 11/10 would get married here again. ❤️

Recently met with Sam at an wine tasting event in Navasota TX. He was AMAZING! Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone (whether they're a wine expert or not!) Definitely would recommend Haak Vineyards!

I cannot rave enough about celebrating our wedding at Haak Winery! To start, the venue coordinator, Kristen was attentive, helpful, and handled every detail with care. The staff was all very friendly and professional! The wedding package value beat out every other venue we toured. The airbnbs attached to the venue were perfect for our out of town family and friends. We wish we could have our special day all over again at Haak!

Our wedding at Haak Winery was absolutely incredible, and Kristen Wollenberg was such a fantastic facilitator! From the very start, Kristen made everything smooth, easy, and stress-free.

Pam was exceptional and truly amazing in helping everything flow perfectly on our special day.

A couple of things to keep in mind: the venue comfortably fits about 125 guests rather than the 150 it sometimes mentions, especially if you plan to have a live band. While this wasn't an issue for us personally, it's just something future couples might want to keep in mind for planning purposes. Additionally, since this is Houston and the weather can be unpredictable, we strongly recommend asking about tent options in case of rain, including understanding the costs involved, any additional steps needed such as rearranging the seating or adjusting the timeline, and possibly having this detailed within your contract for an outdoor wedding.

We also found having our dedicated Wedding Coordinator / Team incredibly beneficial for our wedding, especially since it was a larger wedding. It's also a great idea to meet Pam or whoever your main contact will be well before the wedding day and maintain communication with them from the beginning. This early communication will help you feel prepared and in control of your special day.

One final note: we weren't impressed with the tablecloths provided by the venue due to their quality and color options, so we suggest bringing your own if possible.

Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. The food was fantastic, and the cake was amazing! We highly recommend Haak Winery to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team. Thank you again, Kristen and Pam, for making our day so special! We can't wait for you to experience the magic of Haak Winery on your own special day.

We got married at Haak and had the absolute best experience! The venue is stunning and we fell in love with the vineyard vibes from the beginning. Kristen and the entire team were so helpful, organized, and truly cared about making our day perfect. Everything ran smoothly and we felt so supported throughout the planning process and on the big day. One of our favorite moments was watching the sun set over the vineyard. It created the most magical golden hour glow and made for some of our favorite photos. Our guests still talk about how beautiful and fun it was. We’re so grateful we chose Haak for our wedding. It was truly unforgettable.
