It was an especially sweltering day, when I found myself, disoriented, stumbling through a classic Frydekian summer inferno. Suddenly, as i emerged from the cornfields and wipe the sweat from my brow, I see the beautiful oasis (initially mistaken for mere mirage) called Ermis. Seldom do my wayward travels bring me to such impressive establishments. Ermis provided phenomenal food, beer, service, and much needed respite before I continued my arduous trek. The whole experience refreshed my spirit, fed my soul, and maybe... saved my life.

The food, service, and facility are all outstanding. Had the fish and chips, chicken tenders and burger which were incredible. Definitely don’t sleep on the frozen margarita, it’s the best I’ve had in a while which is saying something in Texas.

The open outside patio with music is such a great vibe!
Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat dairy products without feeling sick so I expressed it to the host and I was easily accommodated which was such a relief for me!

Best patio bar and food around. We drive from Katy and feel like we are far away from the city. Love it when they have live music!
If you are looking a great place to spend a Saturday night, Emil Ermis Grocery is your place. It is a casual/country setting. No it isn't grocery, it's a restaurant. You can dine indoors or out. We were there for a party out on the deck. There were about 40 of us, there was plenty of room. There was live music, couples dancing. Lights strung around make for a romantic setting. The food was very, very good. I had the mushroom burger with fries and my husband had a regular burger. Delicious! Some of our group had the Shrimp or Chicken Fried Steak. They could have used a few more servers for a group and the mosquitos were out, but there has been a lot of rain here. Service was a slow, still we look forward to going back to this rare find. It was fun.
